Dick, As you know, I program custom schedules and I can attest to the challenges that doing such a thing presents. I just wanted to say Thank You for your hard work. If you need any help with programming Flight Schedules, let me know. I just finished a fresh set of schedules for KBOS, KPHL, KSAN, KJFK & KLAX. Brought them up to date as of Late Nov. and early Dec. This includes all Cargo Flights including Airline Cargo Flights. Private Jet Charter Services and General Aviation. This takes a huge amount of time since many Jet Charter and Airline Cargo Services don't have an IATA. I have to program my own.

Please also consider KIAH, KDEN and KPHX for near future releases.

Hey Kevin, You just mentioned some great ideas for a future version. Why not allow the player to choose what positions he or she wants to take on before the start of the Simulation. As far as separation, if the Tower Controller would be unable to control speed of aircraft on final, then perhaps create an AI that can. Not sure what degree of difficulty there would be in programming this, but I'd imagine it could be accomplished.

This is were being able to designate parking locations and have those locations active in game would be nice. Tower 2011 currently has the ability to set Parking areas via the Editor, but they aren't active. I would assume this was done because at some point, they were going to become active via a revision that never came. Also in the next version, I hope we have the ability to control the airspeed of planes on final. This will allow the 30 to 40 arrivals per hour restriction to be lifted. A lot of the reason for this restriction has to do with smaller planes being overtaken by larger ones. Of course if you have multiple runways, this can be overcome, but at a single runway airport such as KSAN, it forces go arounds regularly. Bad sequencing even with the 2 min. 30 - 40 flight an hour restriction forces go arounds and this should be corrected with the ability to control an airplanes speed while on final.

Quick question for those who have experience with the sector editor in Tracon 2012. KATL actually has 3 different Tower Freq. depending on which Runway is selected for a Plane to land on. Is there a way to have all three of these Freq. actually work in game? Example: Name:Atlanta FREQ: 119.1 FREQ: 119.3 FREQ: 119.5 These are the Tower Freq. for Runways 26R (119.1), 27L (119.3), 28 (119.5). Therefore Tower Handoff Freq. depends on the runway used. You need to add additional Airports and Airlines. I make my own schedules because Real Traffic is very hit and miss unless you add the Airports needed. Dick Parker has some info on this page in his Schedule Creator Topics.
