How and where do I get simconnect? I thought simconnect had something to do with fsuipc. Also I am running windows 8.1 64 bit, if it makes a difference.

Please help, I keep getting .net frameworks which lead to the windows error sound going off every ten second while I am flying, and then eventually I get a fatal error. I have only recently installed FSX after switch back from P3Dv2, which is still installed on my computer. I don't know if this is part of the problem. Thanks for the reply. Any idea where I would find SimConnect.msi file? Should I uninstall and redownload P3D? Does it matter if I only bought the academic license ?

I just bought FSUIPC and can not get it to install. I click run as admin just like it says in the manual. Still doesn't work INSTALLATION FOR Prepar3D v2: SetupPath="C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\" Checking version of the Prepar3D v2 EXE: ... Version 2.1.9936.0 (Need at least 1.0.677.0) Checking compatibility with installed SimConnect: ... Failed to find a valid SimConnect needed to use FSUIPC4! Any ideas?? Thanks Brandon
