It won't be too long Lewis. Maybe a week or so. Maybe even sooner.

Hi all! My Cessna 150 Texas Conversion has been uploaded to Avsim. She should be up shortly.

Holger...It can't be a Hoot, or it would be an owl. It would have to be a Honk! LOL! I saw the pics, and they look great!

I do not have the road program you are talking about, but the bridge is GONE! I went into the library and deleted the two areas and saved it, and exited. I then went back in, added them, checked their order, saved and exited. All is well. Why it worked now, I have no idea, but it is good to go now. I appreciate all the help. :D Back to scouting....and a little more studying! :D

No joy. I tried every combination I could think of. I adjusted up and down the library, and I still have that bridge. What is the exc name, and I'll look to make sure she is there. It's acting as though it doesn't have one. I hate to be a pain, but it has me stumped! Thanks! :)

Hi guys. I found a stray bridge at Ketchikan. It is just ahead of the ships, just past the boat basin, (about 1/2 mile) and runs parrallel with the river. It's a big steel bridge. If needed, I can supply a ss.

Masterpiece is a good word. It's going to take me MONTHS to fly this area! My hat is off to all Holger, and to those folks who worked on, and who are involved with, this project. The old saying, 'you get what you pay for" truly applies here. Sehr gut!

Thank you Holger for that fast answer! I am off to explore inbetween my studies today. Ich habe eine groß Deutsche Prüfung morgan!

Hi all. I went to Annette Island, and I found a bare airfield. The runways look new and the fuel tank shows. Should there be more scenery there? Thanks! Scenery is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! :D

I introduced you to bush flying and Alaska, and you are STILL talking to me?? LOL! That was a LOOOOOOOONG time ago too, my friend. Look how much has changed!
I am looking forward to the new Alaska scenery. As I said before, that portion of AK. will be new to me. I was basically flying from Valdez to the West / North / South. The whole Southern leg will be new. I know it's very nice there too. This looks like it will be fun. There are so many good people in this outfit!! Just one more question for you. Does everyone have to wear a hat like that one, or can we substitute one? LOL!

Thanks all for that great welcome! I am pretty much finished with old Alaska. I like this Washington area. I also have been enjoying the Southern part of Alaska since it was the one part I never simmed in. I mostly stayed in the Northern part. This is a good place to come being I enjoy GA planes, and my site is now geared towards GA. This little Cessna will be available shortly. I have a little more to go with it. This is only plane #2, so don't expect a Milton job, ok? LOL!
I flew from Emma on up to Whidbey (daughter based there) earlier this morning when the sun was coming. The view was beautiful! I need to updat the airports around Emma now. I have Lauren's add-on installed (had it for awhile). What other goodies have been made for the area?
Again, glad to see and hear from you all!

Thanks guys! I am waiting on Francois to give me a number, and I'll be an official member. :D I know MANY members here, so this will be like old times! MP....maybe.

After talking to Francois the other day, I took up his invitation to fly up to Emma Field. I have arrived!! After I top off, I need to have someone show me where an empty T-hanger is. I believe I'll be staying here. :D

That looks very nice Joe. :D That's the place Tom. I went to their website last night. It looks like a nice little place to live.....if one could find a job! There is only about 2500 people living there. I'm sure everyone really lives outside the "city".

Thanks buddy! :) Maybe I can add a little bit in there.

Hi all! I need some N.W. help! Is anyone aware of scenery and landclass for Leavenworth, Washington? The whole town from what I hear is a small piece of Bavaria with German looking homes, buildings, etc. Any help would be appreciated.
Don
***Leavenworth is the location of one of the biggest German American winter celebrations. It probably has a big Oktoberfest too. I am trying to find out more about it. It's in a beautiful location. Go check it out.

Here is a pic with the shorter floats.
Also...need some info on skis needed. Where do the rear cables attach to? (ski to fuselage)
Don

I will post a shot with the shorter floats. It does look better! I don't want to make any promises on the Cub. This is only my second plane, and I have a LOT to learn yet. VC? I might try one. I was told how to do it. I need to try it out. At this rate, a March release is looking good! LOL! Nah....it will be shortly.

Very well could be, buddy. I believe it is a memory problem. I put the float on the screen by itself, and all is fine. I shortened the ones I mad, and all is well now. :D Thanks though for the floats!! They will be used one day! :D
Don

Thanks for the pics, guys! That helped. I couldn't find any when I looked that could help. Looks better with 2' cut off!

Hey Lewis! The problem I had was when I went to add the float to the plane, it was like something slowed my computer down to null. I could try to move it and the part would stay, but finally move after about 10 seconds. It acted like it was a power drain. Why? I have no idea. I tried no less than 10 times to do it, and I finally abandoned it and made a set after I found some plans. I got them from Simviation. Maybe it was a corrupt download? All is well now, but I still have them, and I will try them again one day.

I think I need to chop about 2 feet off of them. That should do it. Thanks Tom C.!! :D :D
Tom F. - I tried the floats from Avsim. I had problems with them, so I found drawings and made myself a set. Thanks for the heads up though!! :D

I can't find a good sideshot to see where the floats really end. I found a shot taken from about 200 feet at a 45 degree angle. I'm guessing on them. I looked at a few 172's and other Cessnas, and saw that many were in this proportion.

No buddy, just the wheels as you see them, the floats and the skis. :D
*****EDIT***** I may add a full set to the 150. The more I look at the pics, the more I like them.
