I admit It was my mistake here Pete!! How did you "move" FSUIPC4.DLL when no such file is provided in the FSUIPC4.ZIP you must download? It is NOT an "FSUIPC.zip" file -- that would be FSUIPC3 for FS9 and before. Please READ the words in the download site! The version for FSX is clear, it is "FSUIPC4.ZIP". The Installer is in the Zip, rather obscurely (?) named "Install FSUIPC4.exe". How on Earth can you mistake it? And oddly enough there is also a User Guide with actual Installation instructions inside! Phew! Please do try to actually look at things. Pete I should have read the user manual prior trying to further installing it. I just do what was in the previous versions "moving the .dll file" to FS module folder! Well Pete, even bloody silly mistakes did happend!! Unless you are GOD!! The other thing is, I dont thing you should be upset or rude in answering my questions. I believed this forum of yours was created to discuss and ask questions, even for questions that in your opinion are silly!! I am sorry if my questions are bothering you and believe me I will consider twice before asking any question in this forum, or even ask question!!! And overall this is just a hobby!!!!!! and as I intended to have FUN !!!!!!!

Hi, Ok I did it, you have to "run" instead "save" as in the other versions. The question now there are 2 .dll file do I need to delete the previous one that I inserted? Thanks

Hello Pete, Could you or somebody update me on the problem I have. I believed somebody already asked these questions, but for the last 3o minutes tried to find the quetions but cant find it. - I just installed the FSX standart version and install FSUIPC4. Not as FS9, there is no "module" folder to insert the .dll file. Afterwards I installed FSInn & FSCopilot, and it seem it created the "module" folder in the FSX main root! The next step I just insert the FSUIPC.dll file in the above "module" folder. After strating FSX, on the top bar there is the "add-on" instead of the "module" title and in there is the FSCopilot but no FSUIPC4. - Is that the way it should be or is there something else missing? The FSInn in is not yet function properly also. - I have a previous registered FSUIPC version, do I need to reregister the FSUIPC4? Can I use the previous version "key"? Thank you

Hello, I have a registered FSUIPC 3.8.1.0 but just a few days each time starting my FS2004 an error pops up stating something like FSUIPC did not properly installed. While checking into my FS2004 root the .dll is corectly shown in the module. Any suggestion to correct the problem? Thanks Hash hash@cbn.net.id

Hello Pete, Thank you for the reply & HAppy New Year 2008. I thout FS NAvigator is one of FSUIPC Clients. Besides FS Commander what are the other addons that is related to FSUIPC? Hi, Can somebody pls explain to me the correct way to install FSWidwScreen?? I tried several time now but it didnt work! I have a wireless Broadband router to conect the Server PC and other PC or LapTops. What I did were: 1. Install/copy WideServer.dll and WideServer.ini files in FS9-Modules folder in the Server PC 2. Install/copy WideClient.exe and WideClient.ini files in one of my Laptops. For example I want to install FSNavigator on the LapTop and as I understand it, it is not necessary to install the FS9 in the LapTop. But after installing the FSNAv it requested the FS9 modules path, how exactly doest it work. In the other case with FSCommander. After installing in my LapTop, as I understand it thru FSWideScreen it will be connected to FS9 in the serverPC but it did'nt work that way! What went wrong? Is there a way I should do to correct it......? Thanks Hash

Hello, I have FS9 & FSX in one computer. I do have a registered FSUIP vs 3.74 for FS9 as well as FSWideScreen vs 6.75. For FSX do I need to download the combine version (including FSwscreen)? Thanks Hashry

Thanks I managed to solved it. It is not in the module but there is a FS9.exe still in the task manager due to a hang problem of the FS9.And when trying to start the FS9 again it then shows 2 FSUIPC.

Hello Peter, Pls tell me what to do? As soon as I start my FS9 tyhis wordings came up: " The squawkbox module was unable to start because FSUIPC could not be initialised. Ensure FSUIPC is properly installed and restart FS to try agaibn." Also the Squawbox module dissappeared from the FS9 "Module" key. It just happend yesterday. Previously everything was in order. Hello Pete, Thanks you for the re[ly adn input. If this is the case then you have some add-in program (DLL or Gauge) which is misbehaving -- i.e. not termininating correctly when you close FS. You'll need to find out which it is (by trial and error) and either remove it or see if a fixed update is available. Early versions of ActiveCamera for FS9 did this, but that was fixed a long time ago. How can I prevent this to happen, since you never know when downloading an add-on which one is save and which one isn't.? Hello Peter, I believed this is the 2nd time I brought this problem to you but forgot what the solution was. Just a few minutes ago when starting my FS9, the notification pops up stating that I have duplicate old FSUIP version and to get rid of it in the module folder of FS9.....and the bad thinkg is my FS9 crashed!! Q: Why did I got the notification? How can I prefent it happend again? Where is the best place to put the FSUIP program? (in the FS9 module folder?) Hello Pete, "Just recently, when I open FS2004, there is an error message that says I have duplicate copies of FSUIPC installed. It says to remove the duplicate copy in FS modules folder. FS closes. " I quoted the above from ABZ, I got now the same problem. I justy installed a program called "easy_auto pilot" in one of the helicopters. What should I do? FS crashed its time I try to open it. Hello Pete, Is there a way I could prevent the old version of FSUIPC be detected by the new version. In other words, what is the best way to prevent this happend. From my experience its always happend when I downloaded something to my FS9 and it causes the FS9 stop running at all. Hello, I downloaded a new a/c and after closing the FS9 and restart it again it stops. A notification pops up stating, "you have several old FSUIP versions- remove it from your module-do not rename folders etc etc"(not the exact words). I tried to remove the FSUIP and downloaded the latest 3.512 vs and installed it. But what happend each time I run the FS9 for about 10 to 15 minuts it crashed.............. Hi, Is there any relation of CH Flight Yoke and CH Propedal equipment and FSUIPC? Last year the Fight Yoke and Pedals work well. In march this year I downloaded FSUIPC (unrigistered vs) and reinstall the FlghtYoke and Pedal (after uninstalling it several monts ago). But the CH devices was not recognise by th computer. Is that something to do with the FSUIPC verson that I have........? Hashry
