PMDG 7474 and FSUIPC wrong version

What I have done with PMDG 747 asking for a later vers. of FSUIP is to delete the FSUIP.key from the Modules folder. Now PMDG 747 is running fine. PMDG 737 does not allow me to use the keyboard in FS9 - anyone have a answer to that. -
Has anyone had this problem before. When loading PMDG 747 - FSUIPC tells me that I need version 3.48 or later but I do have 3.5 installed. It then shuts down FS9 .
