  1. Thank you Volker, I'm having a few problems with reducing the size of the screenshot for the post. I have sent it off as an email to you instead. Cheers Failsafe
  2. Dear Volker, I'm sure you've been asked this a dozen times (and I apologize in advance if I have missed a critical step), however I'm having difficulties trying to get the database manager to update Airports from P3Dv4. I have installed FSC in a separate drive (away from drive C). When I open the manager I choose the correct flight sim path. It then automatically and correctly finds the path for the scenery library but the Update button is greyed out. Not quite sure what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. I'm running P3d V4 I have installed FSUIPC5 I don't use FSC in a network I'm running Navigraph with AIRAC cycle 1708 I purchased the download version of FSC9.4 from SimMarket but then uninstalled the old version and installed FSC9.6 Rev (full installer) My OS is Windows 10/64 Running 2 monitors. Many thanks Failsafe
  3. Hi ncngrr, I encountered the same problem and I modified my registry and went through the exact procedure you did. However when it came to installing FSUIPC4 (it was a licensed version), it could install but wouldn't activate it because it couldn't find the FSX_SE config file and couldnt edit my dll.xml (my log attached). Of course I no longer had the file because in order to install orbx I had to modify the registry and rename the file from FSX_SE to just FSX (I fontknow whe but they were the instructions provided in the orbx forum!). I found a workaround but Im not sure if it is a permanent fix. I went into my FSX folder and renamed it to FSX-SE and then renamed my fsx.cfg file to fsx_se.cfg. I was then able to active FSUIPC4. FSX-SE will try to write a new fsx.cfg file. I simply renamed the new fsx.cfg to fsxcopy.cfg (just in case I messed up and needed it again) and renamed the fsx_se.cfg file back to fsx.cfg. Works great now. Im sure Pete will have a more elegant solution but for now it has solved my problem... hope this helps. ============================================ Installer for FSUIPC4.DLL version 4.939 Looking in registry for FSX install path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\10.0 Parameter"SetupPath" ... >>> OK!
