  1. Good evening, Pete! Sorry for responding so late, but I had a very busy afternoon and evening. I have just tested a few things. Default planes load with no problems, both when: - loaded via their own profile (I made it from 'based on... A320') - when the INI has a general [AXES] section (copied from the A320 axes entries). BUT: your mentioning graphics brought a tiny thought to my mind. Even though I gave it no chance to be the culprit I did try. Namely I have removed the 2D panel section from my AirSimmer's panel.cfg, leaving only the VC sections. Guess what, my Lufthansa... has successfully loaded! I should have tried it in the begining, before even bothering you. Of course I don't mind having the 2D removed as since 2010 I have been flying in the VC exclusively (pity for my DA fokker!). But why does the non-2d-panel version of my aircraft load withouut a problem and why does the 2d one load when unassigned in FSUIPC? Maybe a stellar coincidence or a general graphics problem combined with, as you mentioned, difference in timing. All in all, looks like I can now fly in the VC, which is all I want. So I won't take more of your and my own time to dig the mess deeper. If the problem returns without the 2DP (I need to make flight now), I will let you know. Once again thank you so much for all your help. And let me use this occasion to thank you for FSUIPC which makes simming so much better. Have a relaxing night, Pete. All the best, Rafal
  2. Thanks for your replies, Pete! I will definitely try your advice. However I won't have time earlier than in the evening. Have to work a bit, lol. I will immediately let you know. Have a great day there in the Potteries!
  3. I have just checked and after changing it to 'Dummy', it loads with zero problems. And the CPU core use is on a normal level: I previously tried with two other liveries and the story was exactly the same: - assigned to the FSUIPC profile: FS hangs, CPU 1. core 100% - not assigned to the FSUIPC profile: aircraft loads, CPU 1. core working normal Strrrrange indeed....

  5. Hello Pete! How are you? I have a strange problem I cannot explain. I've been a long-time FSUIPC user but I have never seen it happen before. For some reasons I had to reinstall my OS (Windows 7 64). I finished the usual installing and tweaking FS9.1 plus adding and configuring my addons last night. Then I decided (as usually) to assign my controllers. For the last eight months I have been flying AirSimmer A320 CFM exclusively. I went to FSUIPC to do my axes assignments, done as a profile (I call it 'A320'). Everything went smoothly, as usual. The bad news is when I return to my sim later and try to load the aircraft, it... won't load. FS hangs on the aircraft choice. I am aware the first thought is 'It may have nothing to do with FSUIPC', but actually there is a direct relation. Any other ASA320 liveries I do NOT add to the profile under FSUIPC will load with no problems. Any other I add to my 'A320' profile will not load. [Profile.A320] 1=AirSimmer A320 CFM Lufthansa D-AIPK [Axes.A320] 0=0Z,256 1=0Z,B,-16384,4736,65752,1 2=0Z,B,4736,16383,65588,0 3=2X,256 4=2X,B,-16384,-3511,66080,0 5=2X,B,-2731,16383,66079,0 6=2R,256 7=2R,BR,-16384,-4421,65602,0 8=2R,B,-3771,16383,65604,0 9=2V,256 10=2V,B,13287,16383,65595,0 11=2V,B,7095,13287,65758,0 12=2V,B,-2861,7095,65758,0 13=2V,B,-12093,-2861,65758,0 14=2V,B,-16384,-12223,65603,0 I have a registered version of FSUIPC and its latest build: 3.999q. My controllers are: ATK3 joystick, CH Rudder Pedals Pro and CHTQ. In my previous Win 7 and FS install (I was using a bit older build of FSUIPC) I have never seen this problem. An interesting observation is when the sim hangs I open the task manager and see the first CPU core 100% busy. WIth other liveries which have not been added to the FSUIPC profile, the problem does not exist. I have i5-2500K on Z68-D2H with 8 GB DDR3 RAM. I don't know what to do. I hope you might show me the right direction. Thank you very much in advance. Have a great Tuesday! Rafal
  6. Gentlemen! Big thanks to both of You. Bob, sure I'm interested! :D If You could drop me a line at: vorjab@wp.pl Thanks a lot! Best regards, Rafal
  7. Dear Pete! Sorry if this has already been discussed. I couldn't find an answer via the search engine. My question is concerned with the gear control axis. Namely, is this now or would it be possibe to control the gear position via a lever? In the FS default assignments menu we only have the "Landing gear up / down", normally operated by the G key. I have assigned it to one of my CH Yoke's two-positioned switches. So UP means GEAR UP and, respectively, DOWN means GEAR DOWN. However, since I have the CH Throttle Quadrant too, my CH Yoke's three levers are now useless and unoccupied. Is there a way to operate the landing gear via one of them? Could FSUIPC help programming the lever (I know there is no special axis for gear in FS9) to recognize GEAR UP and GEAR DOWN (and, most hapilly though not necessarily, GEAR OFF)? Would be great! Thanks in advace, Pet! Best regards, Rafal P.S. I know some guys have the gear lever in their HMCs (Home-made cockpits) and there even are special modules from GF / Elite. So... possible?
  8. Pete! THANK YOU, MAN! How can we pay back Your dedication to the global FS community? Regards, Rafal
  9. Me too, plus CH Throttle Quadrant and GF Multi-display Module (more coming). Now it looks like... everything is guilty except for the plane itself. To be clear: I fell in love with that plane. It looks great, manual flying is XXL pleasure, panels look superb, FMS works like heaven, etc. But these AP problems.... Regards, Rafal P.S. Pete, if Your FSUIPC works great with every stuff (which is indisputably true), I do believe it will finally co-operate with PIC737 too (or rather vice versa) and will make flying it pure delight...
  10. Great, Pete! Things start getting brighter! I also believe we had some internal misunderstanding. I do believe in FSUIPC more than in myself! Quizz for Tonight: Who offers the best support on the Globe? Regards, Rafal
  11. Hi Pete! Nice to drop You a line again! :D Let me make it a bit more clear. Since last week we have been enjoying a new long-awaited product. This is Boeing 737 classic released by Wilco and developed by FeelThere (hence FT). Yes, PIC stands for Pilot In Command of whose 737 is the next title. It is a gorgeous addon, though there are some bugs making our lives a bit more frustrating. The problems that are worth mentioning right here are: 1. Wrong A/T behaviour 2. Frequent steep climbs and dives with AP Not all users are experiencing the above, though quite a number. As for the A/T, the problem is that N1 displays show continuously changing values. If You have a look at the Throttle Panel, You can notice both throttle levers making crazy dance up and down, what's more - independently. As for the AP VS, the problem most probably lies in wrong elevator trim behaviour. Shortly after activating VS or VNAV, the plane often starts abrupt climb (up to 6000+ or more) or dives (almost nose down). The only help seems to be discnnecting AP and saving yourself manually with the help of the trim and the yoke/joystick. If You activate it once again, then it usually doesn't repeat itself. If You have a look at the plane from the outside, You can see the unnaturally positioned elevator trim. Why mentioning it here? Well, kilometres of thoughts have been now expressed about it at FeelThere Forum ( example: http://www.iemit.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3815 ). Some folks suggest resetting FSUIPC (together with the controls settings  ) helps. But of course who wants to lose the long-polished settings for throttle axis, for reversers, etc? Pete, You're the best FS professional supporter around the Globe. Can You tell us if it may have anything to do with FSUIPC or better if Your FSUIPC can help here? Regards, Rafal
  12. Pete! How many times should I tell You nothing matches Your Support! You know how to make people happy :D THANK YOU SO MUCH! Regards, Rafal
  13. Dear Pete! As I mentioned in another post, I have rebuilt my CH Throttle Quadrant a bit. Levers 1 and 4 and are now larger, looking more or less like the boeing-type ones. Thanks to Your quick and professional help, I was also able to assign two levers for 4 throttles to fly 747. Big thanks once again! Now, I have another question. I have levers 2 and 3 unoccupied now and I decided to use them as reversers (to simulate the throttle reverse thrust levers of a real aircraft). However, I do not know how to do it... :( To save Your precious time, I have read both the main and the advanced manuals, as well as searched the Forum through. Unfortunatelly, no combination of information and experiment has brought any results. Looks like I have no idea on how to make my middle levers work as reversers (I expect the levers to activate reverse thrust by being pushed back to their detents for example). Simultaneosuly I would like my two throttle levers not to activate reverse thrust anymore when the new reversers are available. I don't know how to, either. Is this still possible? Could You tel me how to do it just in a few words? Thank You so much in advance, Rafal
  14. Pete! Thank you very much for a very quick answer. Your support is the best around! :D I'm going to follow your advice now...
  15. Dear Pete! I have bought the CH Throttle Quadrant. I fly mailny heavy metal in FS9. However, the only heavy with four engines that I am interested in is PMDG's 744. The rest I do have and fly most usually are double-engined (PMDG 737NG, Level-D 767-300 or PSS 777-200LR). The throttle handles are too short for my taste, so I remade them and now they are long, big and quite similar to real throttle levers of the boeing type. However, there was enough space to remodel just two levers (no. 1 and 4), so 2 and 3 are left idle forward. My question (although it may sound not very realistic) is related to my will to fly the four-engine plane again (747): Is this possible to use two levers for controlling four throttles via assigning both engine 1 and 2 throttles to lever 1 and 3 with 4 to lever 4 in FSUIPC? Or, in other words, can one lever control two throttle axes and the other the remaining two (in order to control four engines with just two throttle levers)? Of course I realize that operating single engines would not be possible then (only seeing two engines as one). If so - how? Thanks in advance, Rafal
