  1. I wonder if it's possible to let Tower 2011 use a different TTS voice other than the default Microsoft Anna. I added some system TTS voices following the instructions here https://forums.robertsspaceindustries.com/discussion/147385/voice-attack-getting-free-alternate-tts-voices-working-with-win7-8-64bit but it doesn't seem to work in Tower 2011. I don't know if it's a sound driver issue again... System specs: i5-3570k, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GTX 750Ti, Realtek HD integrated sound card, Logitech G430 headset Windows 7 64-bit Professional, en-US The additional TTS voices I installed works fine in other Windows applications; they just don't work in Tower 2011.
  2. Yeah, sound card driver indeed... I figured it out before this post was even approved. My headset has some fancy sound driver feature that makes a two-channel analog audio input into a 7.1 audio output, and apparently this is causing the problem. To whoever may have had this problem, just disable any fancy features in the sound driver.
  3. Hi I wonder if any one of you had this problem before: the game runs (otherwise) normally but read-backs from pilots SOMETIMES just won't play. I'm pretty sure openAL is installed and configured properly as I do hear read-backs sometimes... I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (en-US) and speech recognition works fine for me. Any ideas what might be the problem? Thanks!
