  1. If you are using FS2002 or earlier you can do that. You would need to find a version 2 FSUIPC. Most programs like the one you are talking about would have been packaged with a suitable version of FSUIPC in any case. Regards, Pete Thanks for the information. I am quite new with the MSFS and running version 2004. I don't even remember where I found the ArrestorCables packet. With it came no version of FSUIPC. With the Waikato carrier packet came a version of FSUIPC but it didn't work. However from the various readmes that came with the packet I understood that I only have to find a freeware or payware version of ArrestorCables and it would work. It was also said that the packet was originally made for FS2002, but this one was modificated to work with FS2004. I asked because I thought I had done something wrong (installing the Waikato wasn't very easy after all). Pekka
  2. Hi! I downloaded and installed Steve Hinsons Waikato Carrier (scenery) from SimViation. It's freeware. To make the arrestor gables and catapult work the scenery uses ArrestorCables.exe program. That in turn uses FSUIPC.dll (which came with the scenery). Now FSUIPC however refuses to work with the ArrestorCables because the FSUIPC is an unregistered version and the ArrestorCables isn't accredited for access to it. I think this is because ArrestorCables is nowadays payware. I tried also the newest version of FSUIPC. Same result. However my ArrestorCables is a former version, which was freeware and should work with FSUIPC according to documents (Steve Hinson lets me understand in his documents that it should). How come? Do I have to register FSUIPC to make the ArrestorCables to work? Or do I have to find somewhere so old version of FSUIPC that it is accredited to it or has it ever been? Pekka
