  1. I have seen that there are updates and/or service packs for some of the airports I have bought (incl. Real Colour and Real Traffic) - please can you tell me where these updates can be downloaded from....? Many thanks! Toni.
  2. Great idea in principle, but not in practice at Stuttgart as there is no parallel runway. Sometimes, using the command you suggest doesn't help either as some aircraft reply that they can't land as the runway's too short..... Then they land anyway and clog up the runway by crawling along for ages. Go figure! Still great fun though...
  3. Many thanks 'scoobflight' Finally got the download to work! Toni.
  4. Thanks Andrew. I tried that but nothing happens when I click the download button..... Toni.
  5. Please excuse my ignorance, but how can I download the DROPBOX -- London-Gatwick (EGKK) v1.0 -- Winter 2019 files...?
  6. I'm using Tower! 3D Pro's voice recognition (set up for English (US) and I've noticed something curious... When I give an aircraft take-off clearance, I usually tell the plane the current wind direction and speed. Whenever the plane 'reads back' the clearance, the voice mis-pronounces "wind" as in "wind up the engine", not "wind" as in the weather. Is there a fix for this...?
  7. Glad it's sorted - you must be relieved as I could sense your frustration....
  8. What would really help would be the use of "expedite" for getting slow-taxiing planes off the runway in time for the following plane's safe touchdown....! ...or some speed control for planes on approach? Still good fun though!
  9. That's very kind - much appreciated...! (Sorry to be so 'basic' but will it be obvious how to get to the private message...?) Toni
  10. Hi Ben I'm using your full day custom schedule (which is great by the way, thanks!). I'd happily try the excel idea if a) I had excel, and b) I had any idea how to do it.... Sorry, I'm not that computer-literate! Toni.
  11. Thank you Kev. All I need now is an alphabetical list of airlines and their callsigns used in the game (especially Stuttgart) as I can't decipher some of what the game's 'voices' are saying.... (I have Real Colour and Real Traffic installed and have printed all 14 pages of the EDDS-airlines file, but not all the airlines (some game-generated fictional) are listed and it's not alphabetically listed, so trawling through 14 pages looking for the ICAO code and it's callsign kills the gameplay if using voice recognition.) Does anyone know where I can get such a list....? Thanks. Toni.
  12. Brilliant! Many thanks!
  13. Many thanks for this schedule for Stuttgart - it improves the (lack of) movements considerably....! I've printed out the edds_airlines file (all 14 pages!) in order to look up those callsigns which Tower 3D doesn't pronounce well enough to understand. Is there a printable version which is in ICAO/IATA/Callsign (or however they appear on Tower's arrival & departure strip) alphabetical order, to save having to search through all the pages....? Many thanks!
  14. Thanks everyone. I think it's because I was getting the command sequencing wrong - e.g. "Eurowings 1234 cleared to land" doesn't work, but "Eurowings 1234 runway 7 cleared to land" seems better. It would be very helpful to have a simple list of commands to refer to (without having to trawl through the full instruction manual). Does such a thing exist...?
  15. I'm using voice recognition on Tower! 3D Pro. I've checked to ensure that the system's set to English (US). It recognises most commands but refuses to accept "cleared to land".... Any suggestions appreciated!
  16. I agree with you. This has the potential to be a really good product but it's currently let down by poor instructions and things that simply don't work (as I have found to my frustration). Other details that are a shame are things like the ridiculously slow speed that planes taxi around (especially when they've landed and are clearing the runway), and have you seen the lanes that car drivers use at LAX? Small point but certainly detracts from any idea of authenticity..... Another suggestion is to have the option to ask aircraft to 'expedite' taxiing, lining up, and vacating the runways. I really hope the developers read this forum. * -- ** Rest of post removed as in violation of forum rules. --
  17. Eureka ! - Well, almost.... I managed to use the 'middle' button (scroll wheel held down) to pan around the airport just once (after moving it around for over 30 seconds, it suddenly came to life). Since then, I haven't managed to pan around at all. I think this is a serious bug and feelThere should include a fix in their next revision Also, on the top of the ADIRS screen, what does the cross with the arrows icon do? Thanks!
  18. 'Flightsimpilot' Many thanks for your reply. I'm not sure what I'm missing, but I cannot drag around the main screen to change view/pan using right mouse button ('Help' talks about middle button!!!) The scroll wheel works fine to zoom in or out but when I press it (i.e. as a button) the pointer freezes.... It could be that the view is locked onto a specific aircraft but even when there are no aircraft in play, I still can't pan around the field. Help!!! This is driving me nuts! Thanks.
  19. Looks like a great game but where are the instructions (other than the tutorial)...? There are various icons, e.g. camera, but how do you use them? Clicking on the camera seems to do nothing.... Thanks for any help.
  20. I've just bought an 'add-on' for my Saitek single throttle quadrant which replicates the three levers as a Boeing 737 set, i.e. spoiler, main throttle (one of both engines) and flaps. The instructions said to set up and calibrate using FSUIPC (which I'm about to purchase) but I have no idea on setting this quadrant up.... Is there some sort of step-by-step guide on how to do this with FSUIPC as the You Tube videos look very complicated...? Many thanks for any help. Toni.
