Hello, I have the following request: I am using a PHP script that allows me to save my aircraft and store it in a MySQL database using IVAO API (whazzup -> http://api.ivao.aero/getdata/whazzup/whazzup.txt). Works without problems. Now I fly sometimes without IVAO and still want to read my flight data into a MySQL database (altitude, speed, departure airport, destination airport, latitude, longitude, airplane type, on ground ?, and other offsets -> http://www.projectmagenta.com / All-fsuipc-offsets). Can someone write a program with C ++ or JavaScript, which can read me via PHP, FSUIPC or SimConnect this data? I have already used a lot of Google, but no program found that accesses the interface via PHP. Please do not use an ACARS program, but a simple EXE or PHP file that connects and writes the live data into a MySQL database at intervals (Standalone Programm).   2. PLEASE ALWAYS POST SUPPORT QUESTIONS IN THE SUPPORT FORUM! So, I've had the Saitek X-56 Rhino for a while, and it's worked without problems, until about a week ago. Neither the stick or trottle quadrant is working in P3D at the moment, but the wierd thing is it's working in the Saitek program. I've tried most of the usual stuff like changing USB port, I've also done a troubleshooting in Windows, with no results. I am using FSUIPC 4 and I have disabled my controllers in P3D. I've been told you can change the JoyNames in the fsuipc.ini file, but to what, and what numbers to change? Very wierd problem, seems like it should be an easy fix. Thanks in advance /Fred

Hello, I have a strange problem with my IVAO IVAP client in combination with FSUIPC5103 (paid version) "Press the key to be sent when you press this button" feature in P3DV4. Let my try to explain: I configured a few buttons on my joysticks (yoke and HOTAS Warthog) via the FSUIPC "Buttons + Switches" tab and the option "Press the key to be sent when you press this button". A specific example is a button that when pressed should output the "S" corresponding the keyboard "S" for this explame to P3D view switching. This works perfect in P3D until I start the Ivao IVAP client. The functions stops working the minute I start the IVAP client (ivap_dllhost). All other functionalies like joystick use, throttle assignment etc all woks fine. Even in the same FSUIPC tab "Buttons + Switches" the option "select for FS control" in combination with "control sent when button pressed" works fine. But not the option "Press the key to be sent when you press this button". When looking in FSUIPC "Buttons + Switches" tab I do see that when pressing the joystick button the function works. So the button works fine but the "function" is just blocked in the simulator by IVAP because it will not do what is programmed for. When I close IVAP via the windows task manager the function "Press the key to be sent when you press this button" works again. So its a combination of the specific option in FSUIPC and IVAO IVAP. The problem is that I configured a button on my yoke via the first option "Press the key to be sent when you press this button" to configure the "0" key on my keyboard that relates to Teamspeak push to talk key. This options, as mentioned above stops working the minute I start IVAP. I also have FSX Steam installed and have no problems at all with the above settings.

  5. Hello, I have had the full version of fsuipc 4 for fsx for quite a while now... Anyway, I have set the autosave to save every 300 seconds, and when it saves, FSX freezes for about 5-10 seconds... Also, at other times fsx freezes every 20-30 all the time so i have to restart fsx. When i disable autosave, these problems do not happen at all. Sometimes as well, fsx completely crashes when it does a save. Is there any fixes to this please? Thank you Sam!

I received an inquiry from some one using my iPad app. This app is build for realtime flying and usage of realtime GPS signals, however, the question was asked if simulators can be supported as well (prepar3d). Since I am not familiar with the simulator software at all (i am a pilot in real life), I was wondering if you can supply me some information about FSUIPC. Is there documentation for developers, namely about GPS over wifi (i guess that is what apps like foreflight are using)? I would like to see if there is an option to implement this in my iOS app. If you would have any information, documentation, or even code examples for iOS, that would be very much appreciated.
  8. i was just wondering on how fsuipc does the autosave... Does fsuipc make their own .fxml and .wx file and write the data from the sim into those files ... or does FSUIPC send code to the sim to make those files ?

I´m still with compatibility problem between FSUIPC5 and 747 PMDG, even with the last build 8370, but I tested just with 5.102 and 103; I readed many users that may use it with some versions of FSUIPC 5.101x, so then, anyone could share me any of 101 please? Virtuaflight simply connects to your flight simulator and uses this data to constantly update text files as refreshed stream flight labels. If you wish to broadcast flight parameters to your Live Stream (Twitch for example) from output text files and constantly refreshed, then you need OBS Studio or an equivalent interface.   14. hello, first, i'm newbie to development with fsuipc, and i have some questions: 1. how can i assign controls to my application? for example how can i change the engine to cutoff or idle (in pmdg 737)? although thats a control not an offset 2. how can i read atc window to manage it? (i'm coding a co-pilot for not using my eyesight because i'm loosing it) and i want copilot to do this and screen reader doesnt read it 3. whats the difference between FSUIPC_Read and FSUIPC_ReadSpecial functions? for now, i can remember these thanks

  16. When I try to start Prepar3D I get a "fatal error" and the sim shuts down. Found a strange entry in my registry at: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers The FSUIPC4.log shows no error: WINDOWS Event Manager shows the following Application Error: When I correct the entry in the registry Prepar3D starts without a problem. After some flights the strange registry entry shows up again.
  17. Hi, I brought FSUIPC 4.96 yesterday and installed it. Every time I load into a free flight on FSX: SE, it crashes to desktop every time. This must be an error with FSUIPC because my sim was working fine before installing it. A friend of mine has got the same problem after installing it as well yesterday. Please can you help as to why it is doing that. I have spent £25 on it and it crashes my sim. Please Help! Thanks Sam
  18. Hello, I am using Saitek Yoke and it only turn 45* while in simulator aircraft yoke turns 90*. Is there a way in FSUIPC that I can assign simulator aircraft yoke to move along with the Saitek yoke, so only turns 45*. Since I only fly airliners I do not turn more than that. Hello there Pete, I recently acquired FSUIPC4 (the payware version) and ever since that installation my PMDG aircraft (737 NGX, 777 LRX) are experiencing Autoflight issues. LNAV and VNAV, AT and LVL CHG are not responding to whatever is programmed into the FMC. The speed indication on the PFD roughly follows the speed entered into the speedwindow. When I then open up Addons in the FSX taskbar and subsequently open the FSUIPC interface and press: Normal defaults everything responds normally again. Now it is nice to know that there is a cure to my problem, but what causes it? I don't want to have to stop the flight every time I depart from an airport to open up FSUIPC to press Normal defaults.   21. First of all, I downloaded and installed the module, but it seems as if it does "nothing" at all. (I planned to start with the unregistered version because I thought this would be a kind of time/function limited demo, but I cannot see what it does at all.) I'd like to know how I can configure FSUIPC (do I need the registered version for this?) to send GPS data from FSX to Bluetooth. Ok, I understood, it should be "to a COM port", but I cannot see anything about that. Is there a HOWTO or a description on that?

Hi, I want to set reverse thrust on single throttle according to the following conditions: If throttle is idle and I press and hold on of the buttons and push throttle forward thrust reverse is working. When I set throttle back to idle reverse thrust should stop working. Is it possible to set something like that using FSUIPC?
  24. Hi, I was using P3D 3.2 until a few days ago when I updated for 3.4 I also updated fsuipc to the most recent version. In P3D 3.2 I used 2 lua files : ipcReady and Dynamic Friction. Both worked beautifully. Now I still have those two, ipcReady is working as intented but Dynamic friction is not working anymore and I don't know the reason. I checked the fsuipc.ini and everything seems fine Thank you for your help
  25. Hi Pete, As I am currently very interested in the deeper functionality of FSUIPC and Simconnect, I may ask you, if you know about some documentation like a "white paper" about these topics. My interest, as an IT man, goes to some questions like: How gets FSUIPC access to the FSX data? How gets Simconnect access to FSX data? What protocols are used (TCP IP, named Pipes, Queues, etc) ? What roles are LVARS playing? What roles are the OFFSETS playing? How is the "cooperation" between both access modes ? Thanks, regards Alhard
