  1. Help please. Just need to center my rudders with fsuipc. I select direct to fsuipc, chose "rudder", untick fsx use controls etc, and see all numbers changing and here's the problem. Twisting all the way right and left appear with different numbers when centered and need to calibrate to stay centered which never happens and always pulling to the left while aircraft moving or taking off. Appears I have to modify the numbers to achieve this but not sure how. Can someone give a hand just for this particular rudder issue? Rest of the axis are performing well with the fsx game settings. Thanks
  2. Hi Pete, I have a really strange issue with fsuipc4, which I have only come across once when I was reading this forum. I have recently paid for the registration key of the fsuipc4, and I have downloaded the latest version and installed it. It asked whether I would like to enter the registration key or not, and I choose yes, and the registration was successful. Then I run the fsx steam and It was there on the addons menu, but It was the "unregistered" version only despite my registration went well. Then I tried other download links for reinstallation (ex.: at simmarket and at schiratti.com), updated windows, turned off windows defender, turned off antivirus, first choose not to register and the registered, deleted the modules folder, etc. (I have tried it SO MANY times) but none of these reinstallations worked, it doesn't generate the .key file, so it won't run as if it was registered. (there are other files as well which it can't install -the existing files are the followings in the png image) I really need this to work as I'm in the middle of building a b737 overhead. Thank you really much in advance! 3.
  4. Tried for long time but no luck. Need help with a line of code to reset a flag on the X52 PRO PINKIE BUTTON to Off. Background. X52 Pro. Running VRS Superbug/Tacpack. Button “C” on the stick. It moves the TDC to the left DDI. Uncages. It sets the target. It designates. All works fine. (See Lines 39 40 41) If I want to un-designate immediately or at a later stage, I want to use the same button, “C”, first by pressing the PINKIE, then Button “C” again. (see Line 42) Works fine up to here. But I want to reset the Flag to be able to go to the target designations again if I need to without remembering to reset the Flag to “Clear” OFF by pressing the PINKIE. 7. I just installed the latest version of Prepar3D (v3.4...) and the latest version of FSUIPC. My PFC throttle quadrant is no longer working. I confirmed I have the PFC.dll file installed in the P3D modules folder along with the latest FSUIPC.dll. I can't get FSUIPC (while in P3D application) to recognize the axis' for the PFC throttle quadrant. Anyone have the same issue or is there a new PFC.dll to go along with the new versions of FSUIPC and P3D? Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, 32G DDR4 memory, EVGA GTX 1080, 1000W Corsair Power Supply, etc.
  8. Since updating to FSUIPC4 4.95 I am seeing the following line repeatedly included in the FSUIPC4.log file (and in the LINDA console). Nothing else has changed in my configuration (P3Dv3.2, PMDG737 NGX, ASNv4.1, LINDA 2.7.x). Can this be inhibited?

  10. I recently made this post to the P3D forum. I'm asking for any suggestions or help with this issue. Thanks. Preview: Re: Shared Cockpit - Spontaneous Time Acceleration I believe we have found the source of our Spontaneous Time Acceleration (STA) problem, plus I think we found an additional problem. We both did a fresh install of v3. Left everything set at defaults. Flew from KAPA to KBJC in the Mooney Acclaim with G1000 4. When we loaded the ILS 29R procedure then "activated", we got a "Fatal Error" message for the Host. We changed to the Mooney Bravo with G1000 with the same results. The STA problem did not occur. We then added FSXFlight app and the required FSUIPC4 v4.948e add-on to both PCs. We both use ForeFlight on iPads so this is an important app when running simulations. The STA problem reappeared! We then removed FSUIPC4 and the STA problem went away. To answer your questions: 1. We are both using the same version, now v3. 2. Both PCs are identical except for the graphics cards GTX970 & GTX 570 (I previously posted details of both systems but looks like it was deleted for some reason.) 3. Neither installation had any add-ons expect as noted above. 4. Same aircraft, standard scenario, same flight plan, location, graphics profiles, etc. 5. Windows 10 same version with most recent updates. Same for all ASUS drivers, NVidia, etc. 6. The steps to repeat the problem are noted above. Any suggestions beside not using FSUIPC4 and FSXFlight? Let me know if you need any more information. Thanks for your help.
  11. Pete, We flight simmers are a small and unique group and very dedicated. I have to say the only vendor you use for your products (SimMarket) is very shady at best. I purchased FSUIPC4 just 4 months ago for 24 Euro. I now need WIDEFS which is being offered along with FSUIPC4 at the bundle price of 21.42 Euro. I inquired with SimMarket about their best price for WIDEFS and the best they could do is have me buy ANOTHER FSUIPC license and WIDEFS to get the 21.42 Euro bundle price, or puchase only what I need (WIDEFS) for 24.00 Euro. I just purchased FSUIPC4 in May and still have to pay over double the bundle price now offered to have these 2 modules. Any other retailer would consider a discount for a regular customer who purchased something at full price just before it went on sale. Sorry to vent, but I have limited funds for my "hobby" and this is just bad practice. Again, your modules are excellent. I think a little competition in vendors would keep things honest. Anything you can do for is appreciated. I am now advancing in my simulation to networking and wanted to connect WIDEFS. Could I please be advised how to get this product and activation key? I would really appreciate it as I paid 24.00 Euro for it in May, and you now advertise the same bundle for only 18.00 Euro. I really need WIDEFS to move foward with my sim flying. Thanks, Ron Jorge - Support Date: 10/11/2014 Status: Closed Dear Customer, You only bought the FSUIPC4 for the price of 24€. The bundle price is 21.42€ regards Ron XXXXXXXX Date: 10/11/2014 Status: Reopened Jorge/Support Team Member, So let me get this straight. I paid 24Euro for FSUIPC4 (only) 5 months ago, and you are currently offering a bundle package (FSUIPC4 and WIDEFS) for 21.42 Euro now. So, you are saying the only option for me is to purchase ANOTHER FSUIPC License, just to get WIDEFS at the bundle price, or buy WIDEFS by itself for another 24 Euro? So, you would require me to spend double the current price (almost 42 Euro total) to have these 2 modules now? That is the best price I can get just to have WIDEFS??? After years as a Simmarket customer with multiple purchases with you, is this the best you can do? I will write Pete Dowson directly to complain about his vendor's practices as this is not the right way to do business. He always offers upgrade discounts to longstanding and upgrading customers. Please acknowledge, and keep this ticket OPEN as I would like it elevated for more consideration. Thanks, Ron
  12. I am try to install the Aerosoft's GA28R simulator on a new Windows 7 computer with FSX installed with all service packs. Aersoft has informed me that they no longer support this device. Have several problems: Where can I download GA28R.dll 1.00? When I lauch the GA28R software, it is only looking for FS2002 or 2004, and there is no option to point the software to FSX. Does anyone know of a work around for this? Thank you
  13. Hi Pete, I run external programs on my client pc´s via key input and the RunKey option in wideclient.ini. Now I want also start an external program on my server pc via the RunKey option in the wideserver section of fsuipc4.ini. But it seems that fsuipc4.ini don't support the RunKey option?! I hope I´m wrong and you can help me. Many thanks. Alex
  14. Hello, I’ve developed a black box with C#. Until today, it has worked with no problem using FSUIPC in FS9 & FSX. My application uses the FSUIPCClient.dll reference version 2.4.0.0. Today, one of my users has updated FSUIPC4 to 4.934 (FSX). Now it’s impossible stablish a connection between the application and FSX. FSUIPC throws an exception (when trying to connect) with error #7: “Error #7: FSUIPC_ERR_VERSION. Incorrect version of FSUIPC” I’ve searched a new version of FSUIPCClient according to FSUIPC 4.934 but with no result. I hope you can help me, Regards, Daniel
  15. Hi Pete , I am writting this request on behalf of my neighbour. He has installed Flight Sim Commander 9. It includes FSX and FS2004. Also, there is a FSUIPC4 module available. He has three consoles, but in the Full-screen mode on Windows 7 he is not able to get one of the view (which I guess is the navigation map). For this reason he installed a shareware version of widefs on a laptop, from where he is using the wideclient. He wanted to try the setup before buying it. I am providing the log output of FSUIPC below. I infer from the log file that both FSUIPC4 and WideFS7 are not registered. Also, in FlightSim I noticed that the buttons to activate these two modules are disabled. And the WideClient was not able to connect. So, the question is whether the shareware version doesn't really work in the above setup? And also, does he needs to buy both FSUIPC4 and WideFS7 or just WideFS7 to get this working? ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ********* FSUIPC4, Version 4.823 by Pete Dowson ********* User Name="" User Addr="" FSUIPC4 not user registered WIDEFS7 not user registered, or expired Running inside FSX on Windows 7 Module base=61000000 46 System time = 05/05/2013 17:16:59 46 FLT path = "C:\Users\Wilfried\Documents\ Flight Simulator X-Dateien\" 62 Trying to connect to SimConnect Acc/SP2 Oct07 ... 62 FS path = "E:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\" 358 LogOptions=00000000 00000001 358 Wind smoothing fix is fully installed 358 G3D.DLL fix attempt installed ok 358 SimConnect_Open succeeded: waiting to check version okay 358 Trying to use SimConnect Acc/SP2 Oct07 2480 Running in "Microsoft Flight Simulator X", Version: 10.0.61472.0 (SimConnect: 10.0.61259.0) 2480 Initialising SimConnect data requests now 2480 FSUIPC Menu entry added 2496 c:\users\wilfried\documents\flight simulator x-dateien\Paderborn Gade 1 kalt und dunkel.FLT 2496 E:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-800NGX WL\B737-800WL.AIR 16848 Starting everything now ... 17160 System time = 05/05/2013 17:17:16, Simulator time = 17:17:03 (15:17Z) 18283 Advanced Weather Interface Enabled 410704 Sim stopped: average frame rate for last 395 secs = 23.6 fps 1582755 Sim stopped: average frame rate for last 1168 secs = 23.9 fps ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Cheers , Prasad
  16. Hi Pete, I've got a minor issue with the FSUIPC4 installer asking me for the installed location of Prepar3D. I had recently un-installed Prepar3D as it wasn't being used as much as FSX was however in so doing, every time I re-install FSUIPC4, I'm presented with that confounded dialog box. Is there a way to get the FSUIPC4 installer to realize that Prepar3D is not actually installed once and for all? 18. Hello Pete! I have just recently installed your FSUIPC4 for FSX, but I seem to be having an issue getting it to work. I have been trying to get it to work for the past week or so, but everything I've be trying doesn't work. I have downloaded version 4.8 from multiple sites and still run into the same problem. When I start my FSX and click "Fly Now" I either crash as soon as my loading screen hits 100% or shortly after taking off (within the first few minutes). I get a FSX.exe error complaining about memory. Memory doesn't seem to be the issue, however, for once I remove the .dll file from my modules folder every thing is fine. Over the last week of attempts, I have read multiple forums and the like looking into the problem. I have done everything from "trusting the certificate" to trying to "run as administrator". My real red flag seems to be when I try to run as an administrator. I right click on the "Install FSUIPC4.exe" on my desktop or in a subfolder, and try to run as administrator. I get an error that reads "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no devices associated with it." When I just run the .exe without using the run as administrator, it tells me it has been installed to FSX "okay". I, however, will crash shortly after clicking "Fly Now". I have used your stuff in the past couple of years with absolutely no complaints, which is why I'm so confused as to why this will not work as I try to get back into the swing of things with FSX. I appreciate whatever time/help you have to offer!
