I'm have great difficulty with the thrust management system and can't get N1 beyond 100 or the throttle go beyond 75 %. I've been following the Takeoff Data Setting procedure but the issue is still happening. If I put another panel in the aircraft the issue goes away. Is there a way to bypass this?

I'm taking up simming again after a number of years away. I used FSUIPC in the past, but can't wade through the installation process for the Steam Edition. Attached is the install log....any help appreciated FSUIPC4 Install.txt

I am running v. 4.974 in FSX-SE. Whn flying in the cruise the landing gear lowers itself - uncommanded by me. At exactly the same time the cockpit view switches itself to locked spot view. This happens with several different aircraft when flying on autopilot. I am completely hands off when it happens. All FSX controls have been checked umpteen times for both axes and buttons in normal and slew modes. There is nothing assigned to FSX control as far as I can see.. I use an FSUIPC axis setting for the HAT view. It works perfectly. Saitek pedals, CH Eclipse Yoke and GF-TQ6. I am at a loss to know as to what is causing this. It is very irritating although easily remedied. It seems only to happen once during a flight although I rarely fly longer than a couple of hours. I wonder if it could be time related. Whatever it is, I've not come across anything similar in 50 years of flightsimming! Regards, John

MOVED FROM FAQ REFERENCE SUBFORUM! I have installed FSX-SE on a new HDD. I have P3DV4 on a separate HDD on the same PC. I have been using FSUIPC for years and like the many options and controls it provides. This is my set up: CH Eclipse yoke, GoFlight GF-TQ6 quadrant, Saitek rudder pedals. These have all been calibrated, and appear stable in W10 calibration. When I delete the FSX-SE axes and button controls for my three game controllers I can sometimes set the controls in FSUIPC normally. In flight though, either the yoke or the rudder, not usually the throttle controls, fail to obey instructions. Checking back to the FSX-SE default controls, I find that many of these have reinstalled - button and axis commands. I've rebooted and restarted FSX-SE each time deleting the defaullt commands till I am blue in the face. But the problem persists. The log file is below and I've attached the JoyScan.csv. Hey, I recently reinstalled FSUIPC since I had some troubles with my sim and thought it could be related to FSUIPC. Now FSUIPC isn't working at all. So basically what's happening is that I click "fly now" in FSX-SE so it loads in, after it successfully loaded in, it crashes to desktop after a couple of seconds (about 5 secs). I'm a newbie trying to get FSX-SE box edition that I recently purchased off ebay to work with my Logitech Multipanel that I recently got for X-mas. It didn't work so I got SPAD and FSUIPC4 and ever since then FSX-SE crashes shortly after entering free flight. I see a note here indicating I need to use a 4.974c if I'm using the beta version of FSX-SE but I have no idea if that's the case. I have also posted a similar thread in the FSX forum, here but the first fix recommended there of changing the last digit of a line to a 1 did not work in the FSX.cfg file, so I posted it here, as the problem seems to be stemming from FSUIPC4. I have FSX, FS9, and FSX-SE folders on my computer. My son is having fun playing Combat Flight Simulator 3 Battle for Europe, which thankfully still works. I'm not sure, frankly what folder that is in. Hi, I have a fresh install of FSX-SE with the but am seeing a very weird FPS problem specific to the ERJ-145 v2 whilst moving on the ground. As soon as I get above 1KT the FPS drops dramatically (from 40-50 FPS to 20-30), but jumps back up again the moment I leave the ground. I've tried running with clear skies to avoid clouds sapping any FPS but the problem persists and it seems specific to the ERJ 145. I can't understand why it should just be happening on the ground, and why it is fine while the aircraft rolls gently at <1KT but kicks in at anything greater. Has anyone else experienced/reported this issue or any ideas why it might be happening? With clouds and payware scenery/airports I suspect the FPS drop will make the ERJ unusable. All, I am looking for a way to setup a friend as a Co-Pilot in my FSX-SE airplane. This means, two independent Computers with their own Controllers, able to fly one Airplane in a multi-player environment. As if I were instructing from the right seat, with the ability to grab the controls and prevent us from dying. Any idea if FSUIPC and/or it's other associated modules can accomplish this? I made the mistake of installing a FSUPIC derivative mod (MaldAir VA) onto FSX, when I had FSX-SE also installed. Un-installed all, reinstalled, edited registry keys as per this Steam forum post, downloaded fresh MaldAir Installer, installed, tried to run any applications results in the following error: "Component 'MSINET.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" Attempted to extract msinet.ocx from the downloaded files, to windows/system32 and no success. Unsure how to resolve.

Hello, I bought the registered version and it registers fine at the provided dialog window. In fact, seems to even run fine... but then there is this repeating beeping, like a nag, every couple secs, and I get a dialog that pops up and says the license is invalid. I think it's either FSUIPC, a Flight-Sim conversion to FSX-SE glitch, perhaps steam - but I'd suspect this is one area they would have handled decently; perhaps a pay plane but this just happens with any heli, stock or otherwise...but I am speculating surely. So I have no idea what is going on - but your program might be it - might not - you'd know best :) I have no idea if this is your program or not. I am not running to much. FSX, FSUIPC, HTR and the Oculus Rift DK2 (Virtual Reality) utility so I can fly in true 3d... which is free and doesn't require a license. Thank You. Jegas

Hi everyone, I have been attempting to install FSUIPC into FSX-SE for more than two hours now and I just can't get it working. Basically, the following error message appears every time I attempt to start the sim: When "yes" is selected the sim crashes almost instantly. What I have checked so far: - FSXSE and P3DV2 are installed, but not the boxed version of FSX. - the registry has the following entries for FSX: (AppPath is correct) - The FSUIPC.dll is installed correctly into the FSX/modules folder. - The DLL.XML in AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/FSX-SE has the correct entry for FSUIPC: I have a registered/paid version of FSUIPC if that makes a difference. Here is the installer log file for FSUIPC (username edited out): And this is the FSUIPC4.fsx.log: What I have tried so far: - deleted all FSUIPC files in FSX/modules - deleted the entire FSX and FSX-SE folders in AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/ - ran FSX-SE to re-create the FSX-SE folder - installed FSUIPC (antivirus off, ran the installer "as admin") - started FSX-SE again which, unfortunately, does not work either. I simply don't understand why it doesn't work as everything seems to be installed correctly.
