  1. Hi folks, Currently use a sidewinder for all airbus on P3D v4.5 and it works good. I would like to seek advice on making the sensitivities smoother as its quite erratic and not as smooth as the other sim I use.... Tried slope curves but this seems to help a little. Any recommendations. Thanks Steve.
  2. Hello Pete, My apologies to bother you with a problem. I am a registered user of FSUIPC and I have a new problem since I installed the update 4.5 of P3D. The problem is that the throttle and the propeller pitch of the Saitek Quadrant moves together with the Ailerons, also when trying to re-calibrate it withing FSUIPC. I have been trying for days to solve this without finding the solution. Latest FSUIPC update has been installed. Windows 10 P3D 4.5 FSUIPC 5.151 All registered. Could you please help? Many thanks. Kr, Enrico

    FSUIPC and HOTAS

Is it possible to program the transition in reverse with the joysticks on a HOTAS WARTHOG and if so how to proceed. Thank you for your help. *** Moved from FAQ to Support Forum: please post support requests in the Support Forum ***
  4. Hi! I am having a strange issue with FSUIPC and P3D v4.3. I have browsed for solution, but haven't found anyone with the same issue. When I have FSUIPC installed, non registered version, the controls of the aircraft get stuck, I can't move them. I have tried with different aircraft, for example, on the FSLabs A320 I lost all controls. On the PMDG NGX I lost all controls, and also the trim wheel on the pedestral moves, but the trim value doesn't. On the PMDG 777 I can use the yoke, but can't move the thrust levers. If I remove FSUIPC, everything gets normal, however, I need it for the ACARS of my VA. This issue is happening after buying a new computer. Kind regards, Joao Nunes.
  5. I discovered starting a flight with P3DV4 that the controller profiles have disappeared. I opened SFUIPC within the sim and the axi/ buttons register but there is no profile attached. Please help as, after much work flight planning and setting up the system I would now dearly like to enjoy a fly. Please find attached the init file. Below is a small sample. 6. MOVED FROM SUBFORUMS TO MAIN SUPPORT FORUM Hi everyone ! I am currently trying to make my VrInsight CDU work with the FSL A320. Yesterday, I succeeded in assigning all the buttons of the CDU hardware to the MCDU of the aircraft with FSUIPC mouse macros, it was working fine BUT... I can only click one time on the CDU, then, the button stay pushed and I have to click on it again with the mouse in the sim to release it. Do you know this issue ? Is there a solution ? Regards
  7. FSUIPC5 Install.log I already purchase years ago the FSUIPC4 with WIDEFS. Please advise. Tommy

  9. Hello, I would like to know if is it possible to find offsets (of QualityWings 787) for some annunciators like the autothrottle mode. I have already tried these offsets: 0810 and 07DC but it doesn't work for QW787. I have also searched in QW787's LVars (like "AT_MODE" and "AT_ARMED") and in QW787 Linda Module but it sends controls to 65859 with the parameter of 0. Maybe can I go to the opposite way that is to read control 65859? I also saw that there is documentation for Offset Mapping for PMDG's aircrafts, so is it possible to have a similar documentation for QW787? Thank you in advance. Best regards, Simon.
  10. Hi All, A slightly random question......... Is it possible for FSUIPC to pass a location to Excel? If any other variables (particularly heading & aircraft type and / or registration) could be passed also it would be ideal! It would be ideal if I could get the lat / lon into cells in Excel. If it's possible where might I find some pointers on how to start with doing so? Once I've got information into Excel I can handle it from there but would be lost with the bit before that (hence not knowing if it's even possible). Best regards & many thanks Richard
  11. Hi Pete, Like many others I have made the transition to P3DV4 and am enjoying the opportunity to keep my PC alive and to enjoy my FSX/FSX.SE until further. I have started put very slowly and am trying to get FSUIPC5 (Paid) up and running together with LINDA. The install and registration runs fine but I was only able to access the first FSCIPC5 screen when using the demo setup. I then wnet back and paid my dues with pleasure (Old hand like yourself). On restarting I noticed a black rectangel appear briefly on the left hand side of the screen and have not been able to access the FSUIPC5 screens since then. Linda loads up and only shows sync taking place to FSX but shows the 'Aircraft' module and confirms that it is connected to P3DV4 and I can input button data to the current a/c which is fine but I need to be able to set up profiles etc. I have read through your various responses on this subject, in particular the wuestion og wxstationlist.bin but I have not been able to find this file in AppData\Roaming P3D. I would, however believe that the black rectangle I could see may have something to do with the issue as it resembles the size of a simconnect transaction but what would I know. I would appreciate any thoughts you may have on this and will supply further data if you require it. The FSUIPC5 intsall file is included. Thanks in advance Schaefer (Bruce) FSUIPC5 Install.log

  13. I'm looking to connect with anyone that has successfully got FSUIPC5 (within P3D V4.2) to properly read and configure a B777 Yoke stand from ACE (Canada). My computer reads the USB connected device, downloads a driver but refers to it as Plasma-MM2 and the thinks its a mouse. I can configure/calibrate it in windows 10 and P3D as a joystick but if I try to fly with it, it goes haywire (uncontrolled bank to the right and unstable elevators). If I try to calibrate in FSUIPC under joystick, the IN figures seem to read ok (I think) but the OUT doesn't register beyond an initial figure. Setting the Min Centre and Max is problematic with eg for the Ailerons: The Min and Centre being 15626 and the max being 16380 . I don't know if its hardware (eg does it need a special USB Type B cable) or software (ie some setting I need to do in Windows or FSUIPC) I've been previously using a CH Products desk yoke and it works perfectly well - so i know how to configure, save and fly. PLEASE HELP thanks Saul AUSTRALIA
  14. Hi everybody out there, I bought FSUIPC a long time ago... ...and I was/am still so happy that there is such a perfekt and functional software :) Now I bouhgt Aerosofts Airbus A318/319/320/321 because I am looking forward to build a small cockpit-simulator with that Software. So know my question: Is it possible to export variables like the AP ALT, AP HDG or the Battery-levl out of the Airbus via FSUIPC? (without LUA,...) And show this figures via such a device: (or simply to read them with another pogramm them?) http://simple-solutions.de/shop/product_info.php?language=en&products_id=62 with this software: wiki.simple-solutions.de/de/products/Arcaze/Arcaze-USB/Arcaze-FSUIPC-Connector I hope you can help - I would be very glade if you could send me a short answer. Thank you in advance, FSlikerX
  15. Moved to Main Forum. Please ask questions related to FSUIPC always in Main Forum! Is there a way to get the ground elevation for a given latitude/longitude position. I need to get the current ground elevation (representing the scenery) at a given position, which is NOT my own aircraft's position and NOT the position of another AI aircraft. I know how to do it with FSX and P3d/simConnect, but need a similar function for FS9. Any hint how I can do it (if possible)?
  16. Hi, I use FSUIPC 4.974b with P3D v3.4 under Win 7-64bit. I tried to start vPilot (a VATSIM client) on my P3D PC via RunIfN in the host mode, as I run the user interface of vPilot on a second PC. Starting vPilot in host mode is accomplished by adding the parameter "-host" after the program name. As written in the documentation for the RunIfN command, I enclosed the command by ". This should enable the usage of parameters and blanks in the command line. RunIf1=READY,CLOSE,"C:\<complete_path_here>\vpilot.exe -host" BUT: vPilot is not starting and in the FSUIPC log it shows an Error #2 telling, that the program couldn't be started. As soon as I remove the -host parameter, the program is starting fine - of course not in the host mode. It's not a critical issue, as I can start vPilot out of a command file used for starting P3D too. But maybe you could check, why it's not possible to pass a parameter with a "-". The same command in a CMD file works perfectly. Best regards Reinhard
  17. Hello, I have tried to assign and calibrate my CH Throttle Quadrant axis using John Cook's FSUIPC Guide. Allthough I follow the guide to the inch I have a problem when I give reverse from the idle - often only one of the power throttles "jump" to reverse. I wonder if somebody could give me an advice how to solve this problem?
  18. hi all I want to integrate external switches and buttons to FSX Steam to control an FSLABS A320 add-on. Therefore I bought and installed FSUIPC4.x to assign key strokes to certain FSX controls. Unfortunately the "Mouse Macro" feature seams not to work for the FSX steam edition (there is no "green pop-up confirmation" after recording the action). Any idea what is wrong with my setup? Any ideas or guidance how to solve my challenge?

Good Morning. I use FSX and Prepar3D v3 with a free version of fsuipc would like to upgrade to paid version, as there a few choices which one shall I buy? Is the payment one time payment or a monthly subscription? Thank you Aryeh 747
  20. Does anyone know how I can find out the control number of a Button by pressing it via mouse. In the log of FSUIPC are only actions that i've done by keyboard or with the joystick. Thank you in advance Marco
  21. Hello, I'm new with QT and i can't connect to fs 2004 using QT 5.0.1 and MinGW/ VC++ 2015. It works fine with Visual Studio 2017 and code Blocks (MinGW 32) !! There is the errors that i have : https://ibb.co/dMQSmS. Thank you !
  22. Hello Pete, Strange one this. I fly FSX Steam Edition and use REX Sky Force 3D for weather. I noticed while flying the Qualitywings B757 that airspeed, which is normally set to IAS in the sim, became True. That is to say that setting a Mach number of 0.81 sent the plane to 525 knots as shown on the speed ribbon at 36000 feet, resulting in a chronic over speed. Normally, the over speed in this configuration should be around 340 knots. So I tried with a FSX stock B737 and with an indicated airspeed of 318 knots, the Mach number is only 0.47. Where it gets interesting is that disabling all weather and setting all weather off in FSUIPC v.4.972 (unregistered) instantly corrects the problem, with the speed ribbon behaving as it should. My only thought on the matter is that REX Sky Force 3D could be the culprit, or that I need to register FSUIPC. Your views would really be appreciated. Alan Walker
  23. Hello, I got P3D v4 today and went to get FSUIPC so I could fly on VATSIM. Then I went to install it which installed successfully, however, when I went to start up the game, it would "crash" after the splash screen dissapears. However, on task manger, P3D is a background process, rather than appearing as an active app. I have reinstalled FSUIPC and restarted my PC many times and still no luck. I don't have any scenery addons installed and the only addon I have installed in the PMDG 737. Here are the install logs if that helps:

  25. Hello all! When I open Prepar3d V4, it loads the splash screen disappears, and acts like it isn't even open. In the task manager, it shows it's open and running. I found out if I take out the FSUIPC .dll file from the modules folder, and reload Prepar3d, it opens perfectly, but FSUIPC isn't running. I have: 1. Deleted the Prepar3d files in the Local,Roaming, and Program Data. 2. Run Prepar3d in admin mode 3. Reinstalled Prepar3d V4 Thanks in advanced!
