Hi, recently I have bought FSUIPC and really enjoyed it with the massive variety of things to do! Up until recently where I have run into a problem with assigning the throttle. For some reason the throttle axis reset itself so I tried to go into FSUIPC and reassign it, but that didn't work. When I go into the Axis Assignment tab, then move the axis on my throttle that I want to use for the throttle, I have a problem. When my throttle lever is at 0% or idle it shows -16384 and when it as at 100% is shows 16384. But anything in between 0% and 100% doesn't seem to work. So from 0% all the way up to 50% it only shows -16384 and from 50% up to 100% it shows 16384. So it is like it has only two power settings, full power and no power at all. I am still quite new to FSUIPC so don't exactly understand everything yet. Any help would be much appreciated as right now I basically cannot fly as these throttle settings just aren't possible to fly with. Just to point out it isn't only with one of the three axis' on my throttle, it happens to all of them. Any help appreciated, thanks. Robbie
Alex L posted a topic in AirplanesHi, I know the low FPS issue has been frequently discussed on this and other forums. I too am experiencing this issue and, after researching it for several hours, have found that none of the solutions posted on this forum or others have worked for me. I really enjoy the ERJ v.2 addon (which I'm running in FS2004) but this is what I experience: FPS during startup/taxi: 50-60 FPS during takeoff/climb: 30-40 FPS during cruise: 10-20 FPS during landing: 5-10 As you can see, the addon works perfectly well at first but slowly, slowly starts dropping in performance until I can barely make a landing with such low frame rates. I have tried the usual remedies: (1) lowering the guage refresh rates to bare minimums, (2) not using the VC for landing, (3) trying all kinds of variations on the compatibility mode settings (on/off for both FS9 and ERJ Config), (4) making sure my FS9 folder in Program Files has all security permissions "allowed." I don't have any addon airports installed and scenery and textures are default FS9. And I didn't install ERJ v.2 in compatibility mode. I have a relatively new gaming laptop and don't experience any low fps issues with any other addons (Carenado, A2A, etc.). Here are my specs: Windows 8.0 Microsoft FS2004 Computer: Lenovo IdeaPad Y500 Gaming Laptop Processor: Intel Core i7-3630QM 2.40 GHz Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M Memory: 16.0 GB I really like flying this aircraft but would like to fix this FPS issue so I can continue enjoying it! Please help... and thank you. Alex
torob_version2 posted a topic in FSUIPC Support Pete Dowson ModulesHi, I have a problem with the fsuipc installed on fsx. i had windows 7 about 2 weeks ago. everything worked fine until i have upgraded to windows 8. after that , everytime i try to start a flight, in the beginning the yoke responses correctly, but all of a sudden it disconnects from fsx!! it means that the FSX doesn't see the Saitek Yoke and Saitek Rudder in CONTROLLER TYPE in the CONTROLS settings ( in fsx ). I know that the yoke and the rudder is still connected to the computer and function, because when i check the Joystick Settings in the Control Panel of the windows 8, i see that i can move them and they respond to my movements. but in fsx, they are unresponsive. if i close fsx and then re-run it, the problem goes but again after a while it becomes unresponsive again. please help me find a solution to this problem Thanks Shahdad
