  1. Hello, I recently purchased FSUIPC 4 for P3D. Previously, I used FSUIPC for FS2004 and created the macros to command keys in the most complex aircraft, such as the 737 PMDG, Digital Aviation Cheyenne, FSD Navajo, etc. In P3D, I can not create the macros! When clicking on create the mouse macros, and when the key is pressed with the mouse in P3D, nothing happens (before, it appeared a green stripe with the codes). How do I assign the buttons and keys with this new FSUIPC, for example, a simple light taxi key of the 737 NGX PMDG? I read the .h file from the PMDG SDK, it speaks of the commands, but no listed command is in the list of FSUIPC commands. Is there a file to replace which includes these commands? Thank you!
  2. Hi folks, I am trying change altitude on MCP by rotary encoder, unfortunately I am not sure if I send to ipc.control correct data ipc.control(70032, altitude) value in altitude is correct, I have there (100,200....1000,1100.......12000....) It works only for first three hundred, and then even though I change altitude value by rotary, the value on MCP will not change. Could someone help me? Thank you. EDIT: I tried to send it real altitude /100. This works fine, but only for increasing altitude. If I turn with rotary to anti-clockwise position, the value is decreasing, but altitude on MCP in FSX is still increasing. EDIT2: Solved, I don't know why, but if I send there ipc.control(70032, 536870912) it is decreasing. EDIT3: Sorry, I have one more problem. When I send there real altitude, it is increasing till 35700. Why? I also noticed when I quick turning with rotary the value which I send to ipc.control is e.g. 2100 but it sets only 2000.
  3. Let's Share HOTAS WARTHOG Buttons for NGX,et al Greetings all, and welcome back from your visit with your son, Pete! I fly with Prepar3D version 2.5. I started this topic in order to OPTIMIZE my immersion and enjoyment with the resources at hand, mine enumerated below. I think we all, who have the ThrustMaster HOTAS WARTHOG, can greatly learn and benefit from comparing notes and offering suggestions to one another. My controls / pertinent Aircraft 1.Paid version of Pete's incredible FSUIPC. 2. My incomparable and dearly paid for ThrustMaster HOTAS WARTHOG control pair, 3. My beloved PMDG 737 NGX, 4. Saitek's Combat Rudder pedals. This topic doesn't have to be exclusively for the PMDG NGX, though I would request that we keep the NGX the main topic; similarities to other aircraft button assignments are also welcome. Note, I have tried doing direct input of the NGX SDK,".h" file offsets, and find a dearth of offsets which actually increase or decrease important controls such as my MCP course, speed, heading, and altitude. Same goes with mouse macros with the NGX ...some work, and some don't. While I have just kind of gotten a handle on compound(conditional) buttons I am still learning but here is where I am so far. N.B: A. Earlier on, I went through my INI file and found a lot of duplications and errors, and either amended, or WAS going to delete them, but, after studying the fsuipc user guide for advanced users, I wanted to keep sequence numbers;that's the reason you see, " =; OPEN", in some of the line numbers. B. I admonish you, as Pete does so well here, to spend the time to document your FSUIPC*.ini edits and inclusions. The time spent going back over each line of your INI file and documenting it, will, I promise, pay you back at least 2x in the time you spend creating and editing. 4. Pete- Per your request................ Thanks for your patience and assistance (as usual). After ALL of this- my solution for the SERIAL PFC HARDWARE & THE PMDG NGX (using PFCFSX.dll v4.40 & FSUIPC v 4.859s) is the following- I put this here in the hopes of saving some other poor soul from the frustration encountered- DO NOT CALIBRATE THROTTLES OR REVERSER AXIS IN FSUIPC USE PFCFSX.dll for throttles and reversers- calibrate those axis in PFCFSX.dll ONLY FLY AND ENJOY THE NGX :) Best- C
