By creating a 'profile' you can assign buttons and switches etc. to a specific (group of) plane(s). So I tried to create a [programs] section in the specific profile.ini file but the programs that I declare in that section do not load or execute. If I declare these programs in the [programs] section in the main ini-file than they are loading or executing just fine. Is it possible to make a [programs] section in a specific profile ini-file so that I can run specific programs for a specific profile? I hope someone can help me with this

I discovered starting a flight with P3DV4 that the controller profiles have disappeared. I opened SFUIPC within the sim and the axi/ buttons register but there is no profile attached. Please help as, after much work flight planning and setting up the system I would now dearly like to enjoy a fly. Please find attached the init file. Below is a small sample. Hi Pete, Can't believe after all this time I haven't used profiles. With all my lua files (30+) made for specific aircraft it was starting to become a nightmare - not any more! 👍 One thing I noticed, and was the assumption it would work, is the use of [General] ShortAircraftNameOk=Substring along with UseProfiles=Files. I have in the main .ini - [Profile.T-6 Texan] 1=A2A North American T-6 Texan RTW_9 2=A2A North American T-6 Texan RTW_5 [Profile.Bearcat] 1=F8F-2 Bearcat FSX V2 Worn OD RTWR Panel 2=Grumman F8F-2 Bearcat VF-61 RTWR Panel [Profile.SHRS] 1=22_

Hi, Although I read Peter´s Manual and a few tutorial in Youtube, I can´t open the dialogue box to create or eliminate profiles. I go to Profile Specific, Check the litle square. click all around and no dialogue box appears! At the INI file I have UseProfiles=Yes, but I do not know where to press to open that possibility of creating profiles. Your help would be most apreciated. José

Hello, It doesen't seems to be possible to use profiles in FSUIPC4 (4.939u) Adding to an existing profile is no problem, but using "new, based on" will make the new name in the .ini file, even the name of the attached plane, but that's all...No axes or Buttons or whatever. This worked fine for me, i don't know, since the update to the last version or is there another reason... Tried this with another plane, same result... Thanks for your time! Ivan Werbrouck
