pete_agreatguy posted a topic in ATC SimulatorsHi all, I think it is best we have one place for a complete list of those custom schedule's already developed (and future ones as well). Therefore I have created a blog post (linked below) which I will keep up-to-date with the aid of community developers. Complete Custom Schedule's List PLAYERS: Support is provided on the airport timetable thread by the developer (i.e. the link found on the table on the blog post above - "Complete Custom Schedule's List"). DEVELOPERS ***IMPORTANT***: When you make your seperate custom schedule post on the forum, please make sure to include "CUSTOM SCHEDULE" in the title along with the airport ICAO code so it is easy to identify. This also allows your schedule to appear in the "complete list" link on the blog post above. Not required but HIGHLY recommended: For maximum compatibility for users who wish to play your schedule on multiplayer; it is recommended you create "hourly snippets". Between 3-5 hourly snippets should suffice depending on the number of flights within the time period of your schedule's hourly snippet. For example; create your schedule, provide the full timetable "schedule.txt" but also provide hourly snippets: 0600-1000, 1000-1400, 1400-1800, 1800-2200. Why do this? It helps prevent long loading times and loading issues; i.e. a schedule not loading and players getting disconnected (see here for an example). Not required but recommend: Please provide a chart or table of your timetable (hourly is suggested) so that it easy for users to pick a time slot to play. If you have any new schedules, either PM me the link or DM me it on the Multiplayer discord server so I can update the blog post. If you would like me to add special developer notes to the blog post (or amend what I have stated already), please feel free to PM or discord DM me and I shall happily do so.
In this post I will link my custom schedules. They will be fantasy schedules only. If you are looking for realistic schedules, based on real arrivals and departures of the airports, you won't be pleased here. My schedules require REAL TRAFFIC, REAL COLOR is recommended. TIST - St. Thomas (RT sp6v10) 03:55 am - 11:58 pm total movement: 488 max per hour: 35 (10 am) Should be a medium challenge for beginners and a mixture of slight hustle and bustle and time to breathe. Not a challenge for the pros, but good enough for a relaxing hour of gameplay, I guess. Download for TIST from my Dropbox KPHL - Philadelphia International (RT sp6v10) 12:10 am - 11:55 pm total movement: 1018 max per hour: 60 (1 pm, 3 pm) Manageable. Variations in kinda repetitive patterns per hour for an actual learning curve, but shouldn't feel repetitive while playing. Maybe beginners would try a multiplayer on this - or anyone else, because multiplayer is fun, I guess. Download for KPHL from my Dropbox All my schedules will come with a PDF document, in printable sizes for US-Letter and DIN-A4, containing installation instructions, the airlines used with callsigns and other information. I will fill this post bit by bit with further schedules and inform about possible updates.
Hey, the last couple of weeks I was busy building my first own schedule for Boston. The schedule is completely based on traffic from March 23. 2018! Every flight number should be correct and has been used on that day in reality! It has over 1250 flights in it and has some quite busy hours. Especially the GA traffic got way busier in my schedule. You need to be a good controller to handle the amount of small GA planes taxiing around the airport while you have big jets that want to go all around the world! I have included snippet files as well that start from 6am and go until 22pm. This helps to prevent the no free terminal issues. So if you want to play one of the busy hours (like 3pm) I recommend you to use those ,,snippets". This is my first own schedule and there might be some small problems here and there, just get back to me as soon as you find a mistake in the schedule and I will change it. But enough words, have fun, enjoy and have a good day in the tower hopefully without any crashes 😉 Custom KBOS Schedule (Jonas).ods Version Number 1.2 KBOSv1.2.rar
After having downloaded with trafficlive the latest schedules and then started P3D, does trafficlive check for changes of the schedules at regular intervals? Or do we have to reload with trafficlive the schedules from time to time while flying to update the schedules for delays and cancelled flights?
