  1. I'm have great difficulty with the thrust management system and can't get N1 beyond 100 or the throttle go beyond 75 %. I've been following the Takeoff Data Setting procedure but the issue is still happening. If I put another panel in the aircraft the issue goes away. Is there a way to bypass this?
  2. Hello Pete, In my FSUIPC5.ini I have 2 hardware devices listed in Prepar3D v4.5 [JoyNames] 2=CH THROTTLE QUADRANT 2.GUID={4D0F4C20-9F5A-11E6-8001-444553540000} 4=Iris Dynamics Yoke 4.GUID={785ACF10-9B8D-11E6-8001-444553540000} With the Modules folder placed in the main root of Prepar3D v4.5 the throttle 2 lever on any 2 engine turboprop aircraft (3rd party or default Lockheed Electra) moves when the trim axis is moved up and down using the force feedback yoke. I do not have any calibration programs for the CH Throttle nor is there anything other than the Windows Force Feedback driver installed. With the Modules folder removed the behavior stops. For testing I switched between the 2 buttons on my yoke, I removed everything other than buttons and levers that are part of the issue below, the entire FSUIPC5.ini is attached: [Buttons] PollInterval=25 ButtonRepeat=20,10 1=R4,2,C65607,0 -{ELEV_TRIM_DN}- 2=U4,2,C65607,0 -{ELEV_TRIM_DN}- 3=P4,3,C65615,0 -{ELEV_TRIM_UP}- 4=U4,3,C65615,0 -{ELEV_TRIM_UP}- [Axes.Bombardier Q400] RangeRepeatRate=10 2=2X,256,D,9,0,0,0 -{ DIRECT: Throttle1 }- 3=2Y,256,D,10,0,0,0 -{ DIRECT: Throttle2 }- [Buttons.Bombardier Q400] 0=P4,2,C65607,0 -{ELEV_TRIM_DN}- 1=P4,3,C65615,0 -{ELEV_TRIM_UP}- Any ideas on this one? Thank you, Robert FSUIPC5.ini
  3. Hi, FSX and FSUIPC, X52. I want to calibrate the throttle axis to the max. values -+16380, but could not transfer the 'set-values' to the 'left windows'. Therefore the power range isn't full size... See pictures below. I try several times and spent a lot of time, no success. Which wrong I make. Thanks for help
  4. I dont know what happend but when I move my throttle it engaged the reversers!!! I have fsuipc controlling my josticks axis, Help! FSUIPC5.zip FSUIPC5.ini
  5. MOVED FROM FAQ SUBFORUM! I am running FSX Steam Edition Microsoft@ Flight Simulator X Deluxe 10.0.62615.0 (FSX.20150710-10ss) on a Windows 10 Pro build 15063, 64 bit system using FSUIPC version 4.969. I cannot get my CH Eclipse Yoke and Saitek Pro Throttle Quadrant both working together. I can assign and calibrate either device and use it standalone without any problems. However, if I configure both, the CH Eclipse Yoke seems to take control and I can only assign axes to the yoke. This happens regardless of I having "AutoAssignLetters=Yes or No." Both devices are using a USB port on the motherboard. I have tried exchanging ports with no resolution. I have tried using both devices on a USB 3.0 hub with no resolution. Whenever both devices are configured I receive the following information from the FSUIPC console ----------- 172 ---------------------- Joystick Device Scan ----------------------- 172 Product= CH ECLIPSE YOKE 172 Manufacturer= S 172 Vendor=068E, Product=0057 (Version 0.0) 172 GUIDs returned for product: VID_068E&PID_0057: 172 GUID= {6F807CF0-680B-11E7-8001-444553540000} 172 Details: Btns=26, POVs=(0, 0, 0, 0), Cal=x00000000, Max=R1023,U1023,V1023,X1023,Y1023,Z1023 172 Product= Saitek Pro Flight Quadrant 172 Manufacturer= Saitek 172 Vendor=06A3, Product=0C2D (Version 2.2) 172 GUIDs returned for product: VID_06A3&PID_0C2D: 172 GUID= {FD6494F0-6D53-11E7-8001-444553540000} 187 Details: Btns=9, POVs=(0, 0, 0, 0), Cal=x00000000, Max=R0,U0,V0,X255,Y255,Z255 187 Product= HP Wireless Keyboard Kit 187 Manufacturer= Lite-On Technology Corp. 187 Vendor=04CA, Product=008D (Version 0.97) 187 ------------------------------------------------------------------- 187 Device acquired for use: 187 Joystick ID = 1 (Registry okay) 187 1=CH ECLIPSE YOKE 187 1.GUID={6F807CF0-680B-11E7-8001-444553540000} 203 Device acquired for use: 203 Joystick ID = 1 (Registry okay) 203 1= 203 1.GUID={6F807CF0-680B-11E7-8001-444553540000} 203 ------------------------------------------------------------------- Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful. 6. Hi, I've had this issue before where I have two throttle quadrants (Saitek), but FSUIPC assigns the same GUID to both. So only 1 is read. I had this a long time ago and can't remember how I fixed it. I believe it was to remove something in [joyname], but I'd like to double check. Here is what I have: In the FSUIPC.txt I see: 94 ---------------------- Joystick Device Scan ----------------------- 94 Product= Saitek Pro Flight Quadrant 94 Manufacturer= Saitek 94 Vendor=06A3, Product=0C2D (Version 2.2) 110 GUIDs returned for product: VID_06A3&PID_0C2D: 110 GUID= {0BA51920-4E57-11E7-8004-444553540000} 110 Details: Btns=9, POVs=(0, 0, 0, 0), Cal=x00000000, Max=R0,U0,V0,X255,Y255,Z255 110 GUID= {0BA56740-4E57-11E7-8007-444553540000} 110 Details: Btns=9, POVs=(0, 0, 0, 0), Cal=x00000000, Max=R0,U0,V0,X255,Y255,Z255 110 Product= Saitek Pro Flight Quadrant 110 Manufacturer= Saitek 110 Vendor=06A3, Product=0C2D (Version 2.2) In the FSUIPC.ini I see: [JoyNames] AutoAssignLetters=No 2=VKBsim Gladiator 2.GUID={0BA58E50-4E57-11E7-8008-444553540000} 3=Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals 3.GUID={0BA5B560-4E57-11E7-800A-444553540000} 1=Saitek Pro Flight Throttle Quadrant 1.GUID={0BA56740-4E57-11E7-8007-444553540000} Now I believe I should see two, throttle quads and I delete them, but I can't remember off the top of my head how I was told to solve this before. Some help would be appreciated. I did just fresh install windows and etc on my pc, so I don't have the drivers for the saitek devices when writing this.
  7. Hello, I've recently updated my Windows 7 Ultimate installation to Windows 10 Pro (using the upgrade functionality). Since then, I have one major issue with my Saitek X-55 throttle and FSUIPC. The problem is that FSUIPC does not detect axis and button inputs from the throttle unit. This in both FSX and P3D. If I start the sim, open FSUIPC, and go the axis calibration tab, nothing happens when I move one of the axis. Same thing for buttons, on the respective tab. The X-55 stick works fine though, it's just the throttle. Similarly, the throttle works perfectly if I don't use FSUIPC. It's detected in Windows, the calibration tool works, and it also works if I assign axis through FSX or P3D. As I said, the problem only seems to happen with FSUIPC. I've tried: 1) reinstalling latest saitek drivers 2) completely uninstalling the X-55, restarting, then reinstalling, restarting again. 3) deleting the [JoyNames] section of the fsuipc.ini file 3) deleting fsuipc.ini file altogether So far, no luck. One thing I did notice that struck me as weird, (although I'm not sure) is that fsuipc.ini shows 2 entries for the X-55 rhino stick (the unit that works) and only one for the throttle (the one that doesn't). No idea why it shows 2 entries, and if it should or not. (I also tried updating fsuipc to v4.951 after copying the below files. No difference) My usual fsuipc.ini file, containing the options and edits I used successfully before moving to Windows 10: The new autogenerated fsuipc.ini file: and the FSUIPC.log file from the last try: Any feedback would be very welcome. Would very much like to get this working as it should... Thank you very much, Lars
  8. Hi, Recently, I have noticed a disconnect while using P3d with my Saitek Throttle Quadrant(Single) when I am using my profile for 'Propeller' aircraft. As I move the throttle from lowest to highest, the throttle is maxed on the plane already at approc 25% of the levers position. I don't know what caused the issue becuase for the last few months, I have had no issues or need to change any settings from the day I installed FSUIPC into P3d. What I did to root cause the issue so far: 1) Reset/Recalibrate the throttle settings in FSUIPC - No Change 2) I did an Axis event log - I can share that is needed. 3) Verified the simple controls settings(null/sensitivity) - as they should be as per the manual 3) Tried to compare my settings in another profile with my 'props' profile -- I didnt notice anything different Any suggestions/direction would be appreciated.
  9. I have recently been trying to setup my Saitek Throttle and seem to be having some problems. I have Assigned to axis' on my throttle to a throttle each aka. Axis Y for Throttle 1 and Axis Z for Throttle 2. I assigned both in the Axis assignment section of FSUIPC and then pressed 'Set' for both Throttle 1 and 2 in the Calibration section but when I went into the VC I had a problem. I tried moving both at the same time and the first thing I noticed was that Throttle 1 jumped straight to about 50% even though I only pushed it forward slightly on my Saitek Throttle. Throttle number 2 seemed fine, when I move it a slight bit it only moves a slight bit in the simulator so Throttle 1 is the only one I am having problems with. I am still fairly new to FSUIPC so still trying to get the hang of it. My FSUIPC.ini file - http://pastebin.com/RGBuYGX0 Thanks, Robbie
  10. Hi all. I haev just recently purchased a Saitek Throttle Quadrant to go with the one I already own that came with my yoke however I am having problems with setting it up in FSUIPC. When I go into the 'Axis Assignment' page in FSUIPC, click 'Rescan' and move any of the 3 axis' on my NEW throttle they aren't picked up! When I move my already owned throttle's axis' they are picked up...? I hope to hear from someone soon! Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Robbie
  11. Hi, recently I have bought FSUIPC and really enjoyed it with the massive variety of things to do! Up until recently where I have run into a problem with assigning the throttle. For some reason the throttle axis reset itself so I tried to go into FSUIPC and reassign it, but that didn't work. When I go into the Axis Assignment tab, then move the axis on my throttle that I want to use for the throttle, I have a problem. When my throttle lever is at 0% or idle it shows -16384 and when it as at 100% is shows 16384. But anything in between 0% and 100% doesn't seem to work. So from 0% all the way up to 50% it only shows -16384 and from 50% up to 100% it shows 16384. So it is like it has only two power settings, full power and no power at all. I am still quite new to FSUIPC so don't exactly understand everything yet. Any help would be much appreciated as right now I basically cannot fly as these throttle settings just aren't possible to fly with. Just to point out it isn't only with one of the three axis' on my throttle, it happens to all of them. Any help appreciated, thanks. Robbie
  12. Hello all and Happy Holidays. My holidays would be somewhat nicer if I could get my Thrustmaster Warthog controllers to work with FSX. Things are so messed up that not even FSUIPC can help a dunce like me. I'm quite sure the key problem is operator error. Regardless of aircraft, when I move the throttle, the rudders move as well. That makes for dicey takeoffs. In the calibration screen, the numbers in the boxes other than the throttles change when I move the throttles back and forth. Also, the brakes are backward and I can't find how to invert them. Have ya'll guessed by now that I'm a complete and total Noobie? I've searched the various forums and have yet to find a similar problem. Is there perhaps a profile I could use? I should mention that the throttle is messing up in Falcon BMS,not working at all in P3D and works fine in DCS. Can anyone make this poor lad's Christmas a little merrier. Thanks all and best regards, Bill Krull Lake Charles, Louisiana
  13. Morning Pete, I have a homemade 737 TQ. I have managed to get everything calibrated in FS so all the axis' work. However, I have separate axis' for the reverse thrust and I have no idea how to get them working, there is no way to assign them as an axis direct in FS as there is no "reverse thrust" setting. I'm sure there is a way to do it using FSUIPC (I have the latest). Please could you enlighten me how to do this? Kind regards Mark
  14. All, I have purchased a few Saitek products with no issue. However I have an issue with my latest purchase, the yoke and throttle quadrant. The yoke seems to work fine, but the throttle quadrant (prop and mix also) goes from 0 to 16k with no range in between. I deleted all my joystick and axes assignments in FSX, but this issue remains. The calibration in Windows works perfectly with full range of motion. I'm really stumped on this one. Can anyone provide some input as to how I can fix this?
  15. Hi, I'm writing a programm which is aimed at controlling helicopters in FSX. I use SDK files (C++) to read and write offsets and everything is fine except for the collective axis. I tried both offsets 088C and 089A (and their equivalent for engines 2, 3 and 4) and I get a strange behaviour : writing at 088C doesn't seem to work at all but writing at 089A work only for the bell (FSX Acceleration) but not for the Robinson or the Agusta. If somebody has any idea, I'm lost here... EDIT : For helos like Robinson or Agusta, writing to 088C does not have an effect although this is still representative of the collective axis (verified through FSUIPC logging capacity with an USB throttle). Actually, the value doesn't follow the external writing for those models, but it does for Bell model. EDIT 2: In facts, my problem is the one described in the first post in this page : http://www.hovercontrol.com/cgi-bin/ib3/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=53;t=20488 The value at offset 08CC is stuck at 8192 (50%) no matter what I try to write. Thanks
  16. Hi, I installed the new FSUIPC 4.9 yesterday and, since then, I have been getting spikes from my CH throttle quad into my sim. I'll be sitting at idle and suddenly I'll get a blip to full throttle or back to beta. Or the mixture suddenly cuts an engine. Need help. Thanks!
  17. Hello, I am having problems with my Saitek throttle quadrants ; the throttle levers are not synchronised at the same positions. For Example, I could have them In the exact same position (physically) on the quadrant, but on the simulator I get different output, It may only be 3-4% of a difference in throttle but asymmetrical thrust Is actually quite a problem in the simulator. The two throttle levers that aren't synchronised are both on the same quadrant which makes it even more strange :???: . I have FSUIPC installed and I have tried mapping the throttle controls into there to see if It makes a difference, but it remains the same. If someone has a workaround for this in FSUIPC to calibrate the throttle positions to be the same I would be very appreciative if you could help me, Thanks in advance! Kriss
