On March 24 the Schedule Creator will be online. This tool is not to be confused with the Schedule Builder. This is about creating your own real world or fantasy schedules. Basically what happens here is the same as if you edit the text files of the Real Traffic AddOn - just better! 😁 I'm already informing about this, so that all interested people know about it by the time it is released, can try it out shortly after, and ideally give feedback and bug reports. This is therefore crucial, as I don't plan to work on the tool beyond March, unless there should be a serious bug discovered later on. I hope there are some people who are interested in this website and have fun with it. https://creator.eligrim.de/ The release is delayed another day to March 24, probably late evening CET. During testing in live conditions a serious bug has come to light which has to be fixed before anyone can work with the website. Right now (past 3am my time) I am too tired to do that.

tower!3d pro Schedule Builder Tool - create your own schedules
EliGrim posted a topic in ATC Simulators
With the Schedule Builder you can create your own customized schedules for Tower!3D and Tower!3D Pro. Real Traffic AddOn is required to play the generated schedules. SCHEDULE BUILDER TOOL WEBSITE HOW IT WORKS: Select an airport by typing the ICAO code or click SHOW ALL to get to a drop-down list. Decide how many hours your schedule should include. Select a starting time. Decide on the hourly traffic volume. Decide whether the first hour should have more arrivals or departures. Decide if you want a realistic distribution of the airlines or more variety. Optionally add GA (General Aviation) flights. Decide whether GA flights should request special flight maneuvers. Select how the GA callsigns should be processed. Decide whether airlines of the Retro RC Pack should be used. Click on GENERATE TIMETABLE to create your schedule. For each of the options there is a small blue question mark. Click on it to get more detailed information about each option of the Schedule Builder. For further questions read the FAQ on the website or use the contact form. Once your schedule is created, you will be taken to the download page. Download each file and save it to a folder on your hard drive. Read the file x_READ_ME_FIRST.txt, it contains all necessary information on how to use your schedule in Tower!3D Pro. Clicking on a link will start the download, but you will remain on the download page. When you have downloaded all files, please click on the KEEP SERVER CLEAN button. Once you have left the download page, you can't return to it. So it makes no sense to leave your schedule on the server. Work on the Schedule Builder is completed. All 28 airports (base game plus 25 DLC airports) that were planned for implementation are available. There are no plans to add more airports. Many thanks to all who helped with this project and all who enjoy the Schedule Builder. For bug reports and feedback use this thread or the contact form on the website. EliGrim -
Hi, I just purchased the game on Steam and I'm trying to get it running but it's crashing on launch every time. I've followed a bunch of posts on here for people having similar issues but so far no joy in getting it running. Firstly, this is a new install of windows on a new PC (installed Saturday 21st Aug) with all updates applied and latest drivers installed. I am from the UK and using English (UK) but I do have English (US) installed, and set US as the default speech recognition language. So far I have tried: Adding 127.0.0.1 192.124.249.158 # prevent Tower!3D Pro from phoning home to my hosts file Running as administrator and running the batch file Verifying integrity of game files in Steam This is a fresh install of the game with no mods added. I have zipped up my DXDiag and game.log and uploaded them. I hope someone can help as I really want to get this game working. Tower 3D Pro.7z

Just downloaded and installed the game on a new computer (I have been playing this game on another computer for a couple years now). It opens to a black screen momentarily, then crashes a couple seconds after. Trying to do a normal run and a run as administrator yield identical results. Could anyone help me out?

I thought that a more detailed description of how timetables are built may be useful for people making custom schedules. Times are stored as a percentage of the day ie. 0 to 1 The game loads the schedule in order from top to bottom. It the goes through the list in order and creates all incoming flights from the start time minus 15 minutes until midnight or start time plus 12hrs. (It could easily do the full 24hrs just by adding 1 to flights that are too early, but doesn't) It then goes through the list in order and creates outgoing flights using the same time period As each outgoing flight is created it checks against the incoming flights to see if it can reuse an incoming plane for the outgoing flight. The criteria for the match is that the plane must be scheduled to arrive at least 30 mins before the outgoing plane and must be the same plane type and be from the same company. It matches the last flight it finds in the list that meet this criteria. This means that in order to get the optimal restarter matches: Incoming/Arriving flights should be ordered from the last flight of the day to the first flight of the day. Outgoing/Departing flights should be ordered from the first flight of the day to the last flight of the day. Multi-player games do use restarter planes. Now that I've written this out, I'll also post this information where it can be useful to others. 😃 Cheers, Daniel

Hello everyone, I bought KLGA quite a while ago, but I only got to try it yesterday. At first I noticed that the movements are faster than at other airport DLCs. The aircraft models move so fast that it is comparable to twice or maybe even four times the speed at other airports. Personally, that's very welcome to me, but... At the same time T!3D Pro overheats my CPU while playing KLGA and overflows the Windows Page File. After a few minutes this results either in a safety shutdown of the system or in a crash with blue screen and Page File warning. Changes to the Page File, such as reducing or enlarging does not bring any change. A deactivation of the Page File results in a Windows system hold with blue screen due to insufficient RAM or an even faster emergency shutdown of the PC due to overheating. CPU, GPU and case are dynamically cooled. Typically the case fans are at 100% when 60 °C / 140 °F are reached. The CPU cooling is at over 71 °C / 160 °F at 100%. Running all fans manually at 100% (2200 rpm CPU - 140mm, 2900 rpm system fans - 5x 120mm - 2x front in, 3x top/back out) is merely loud, but does not prevent overheating when I try to play KLGA. Today I tried the base game airports and all DLCs in my possession. Only KLGA has these problems. Other DLCs or other CPU-intensive games like Planet Coster don't overheat my system. My Specs (as detailed as possible to avoid a back and forth): - Windows 10 Pro v1903 (latest build, latest updates) - MB MSI B350M PRO-VDH (latest Bios) - CPU AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (6 cores / 12 threads, 3,4 / 3,9 GHz, not OC) - GPU MSI GTX 1060 GAMING X (6GB GDDR5, 192-bit), (core clocks 1784 MHz / 1569 MHz, memory speed 8008 MHz, not OC) Latest GeForce Game Ready Driver v441.08 (10/29/2019) installed - RAM T-Force Nighthawk 32 GB DDR4-3200 (running in 2999 MHz profile with 1.32 V) - SSD (240 GB) for Windows, SSD (250 GB) for Temp, Data and Program Cache, SSHD (2 TB) for games - Latest Steam Version of T!3D Pro (SP3.3c), RC for KLGA (and others), RT sp6v17 Has anyone experienced anything like this or has any idea what I can do? Regards EliGrim

Hello, I've never seemed to have this problem until yesterday. However, My brother and I were loading up just another MP session (I was hosting) but this time I got stuck at 9% and he loaded in just fine. I didn't think much of it so I kept trying but had no luck. Some troubleshooting things I've done so far. Restarted both machines Reinstalled the whole game Ensured we had the same schedules and files installed (I installed everything for both of us anyway) After doing these with no luck I decided to bring it here to the forums. Thanks for any help you can give. *PS: it said the game.log file was too big so I put it in a dropbox* https://www.dropbox.com/s/zbyvs0u3sm4av8y/game.log?dl=0

Created another schedule for KPHL, enjoy the airport quirks and all. Found this schedule to be pretty hectic at times making it a decent challenge. Some fun GA and overall works without issues. Testing a few GA's that may have problems but any issues you find I'll see what I can do to fix. Feel free to re-post or what have you and enjoy :) Video for 8am from the schedule here. I played it with a self imposed "scenario" which hosed me but was fun overall lol. Got annoyed at a few bits, myself and just for fun of pushing through. Download Available Here Update: 4/7/2019: Corrected Duplicate plane at 3pm hour. Fixed chart.

I created 2 full day's schedules from different days for a change in dynamic at the airport and used them to create some extra options for some fun. Real Traffic is required but Real Color is your discretion. I have links to videos of each schedule to save space vs large embeds. Disclaimer: I was taking notes for fixes and ensuring the schedules were working so while I'm not great at the game this is lower than my usual "standard" of play quality. :) Likewise a few fixes were made after the video's. 12/31/2018 I figured with it being New Years Eve a number of people would be heading home and this turned out to be true with quite a busy period of early morning departures. Sadly not a lot of GA on the holiday Video showing an hour of play from this schedule. Download here 2/2/2019 A typical Saturday with busy in / out traffic. Reasonable number of GA flights. Video showing an hour of play from this schedule. Download here For both schedules I've done a fair amount of testing and believe I have fixed all of the schedule conflicts and issues if any are found just send me a message and I'll fix them. I have not looked at fixing the white planes at this time. Extras: I have felt that KMCO can handle more traffic than it currently see's and decided it would be fun to play that. So I took both of my two schedules and merged them together for a... Double traffic schedule: I did go through and advance by one flight number duplicate planes following the same routes etc similar to the original schedules that had a few departures and arrivals back at the airport. This also means more periods of the day are active to keep things rolling instead of a slow late evening. Video showing an hour of play from this schedule. Download here Scenario Play: For the first few here I wanted to focus in on some things I have done privately and as most people have experienced while flying which add some fun as written into the schedule with some basic guidelines for play. As such I have created two scenario's for weather related fun: Scenario 7am through 8am: Video Showing this scenario Bad weather has been in the area around MCO, at 7am a storm starts to move in. In an attempt to get in / out before the weather arrives a number of planes will seek departure and arrival prior to the airspace closing. At about 7:10 the airspace will close, departures remain active until about 7:12am. Planes en-route will be held in a pattern by ATC and not released into MCO control until the weather clears. Departures are able to push roll to staging but are not allowed to depart and must wait in staging areas. There is a route open out of the area but MCO must share it with all airports. If any plane is released into MCO airspace the tower can then depart a plane as it is MCO's turn. The weather pushes out of the area and the airport is free to resume normal operations at 7:30am. ATC will pull planes out of their patterns and queue them for arrival. Scenario 8pm through 9pm: Video Showing this scenario Weather is still in the area around MCO this evening however the impact is primarily with other airports. A number of airplanes must divert to MCO due to weather at their destinations. This will create a small spike of planes routed in and then later in the evening a spike of departures as they all head out to their intended destinations. Download the scenarios here Configure the airport how you see fit but mix it up and replay seeing what works best but most of all enjoy. The morning period is going to be the more hectic and demanding as it is peak departure time for the schedules and you will have to stack up the planes in an area attempting to allow flowing traffic without blocking major paths. Typically planes must still have a route to return to the gate if needed so keep that in mind. The second period is still active for that time of night but the activity comes and goes specific to the added traffic which was only a few planes. I adjusted these planes in the schedule to set destinations in the reasonable area to divert to MCO though I did not adjust their source. I also adjusted their flight number advancing it by one to avoid duplicate issues but you can identify each as they arrive and then depart within the regular schedule for the evening. The goal I set was to have as much of the schedule COMPLETED as possible by the end of the hour as a gauge of performance. I have more scenario ideas for the next airport I will be making schedules for which hopefully will not take too long. If you run into any bugs or problems please let me know and I will go correct them. The schedules were made in Excel so for the most part fixes are fairly easy to process. I hope that you enjoy and happy controlling!

I just bought Tower!3D Pro and KSAN for Steam. The traffic and color addons aren't available there. I realize I can buy them directly from atcsuite.com, but I have a habit of losing small programs, which is why I like buying DLCs on Steam- they will forever be associated with the account and always ready for download. Will they be made available there? If so, when? If not for a while, will I be offered a Steam key if I showed proof of purchase when it eventually does get put there?

I had two things regarding the AI and their routing / visibility: Always had a few issues, admittedly some of them are my fault where I need to hold and continue traffic as necessary but there are times when the AI seems to be unable to "see" another plane. Some patches it seems to be better others it seems to be worse. Airports can make it worse depending on their complexity and the plane timing. ATL which I am playing right now for a series has been causing me some grief with planes pushing from the gate into planes on the terminal taxiways while others wait their turn properly. Departures driving into the sides of arrivals already on the taxiway / vice versa when they would have full visibility of each other or one of the other and would yield. Other times the planes see each other just fine and wait which is very helpful and what most pilots would do in those types of incidents. The worst is the head on collision where (yes the situation started as my fault) but sometimes the two planes will stop and stare each other down mocking me, while others will plow into each other without abandon. Just curious if there is anything being looked into regarding that. Perhaps adding a command to hold at X taxiway for crossing traffic then continue or hold for 2 planes crossing taxiway then continue would help with some of the plane accidents but it seems inconsistent which planes can see each other on the ground. As if the arrivals and departures are part of two separate AI Routing and visibility systems with those at the gate independent of both. --- Second the last few patches for the most part has sped up the routing of traffic around the ground, I am still seeing issues with arrivals though (again specifically at ATL right now but have had a few issues at PHL as well). The airport is complex and voice recognition hates the double / triple character taxiways most of the time but if I issue a direct route but include certain taxiways or too many the planes cannot find the route and sit there immobile even if the visual indicators and text conversion from speech show that it knew exactly what I said. I have to shorten it down until they get on the route and then I can expand upon it a little more. Tied into this is a request: If we issue taxi instructions to a plane as it is slowing down on the arriving runway, pulling off the runway or approaching is there a way to code it for the plane to just roll off the runway at whatever Taxi way already having looked at the route and continue moving with little to no delay. Maybe a command to clear landing and to exit at taxiway X taxi to apron/gate/terminal via X Y C. For the most part with departures once they push and we issue commands for their route they find it immediately and begin rolling. If we change the route the plane parks for a moment and then takes 5 to 10 seconds to get moving again even if they are continuing down the same taxiway just turning off at a different spot. The main issue is the planes always have to pull of the runway and stop for a while before they begin their routing even if they have received instructions for taxiing to their gate and know which gate they are going to. If we adjust routes planes again park each time. If we are drastically changing routes I get it but if we simply are having them enter the runway one entrance earlier off the same parallel taxiway the delay is a bit odd. Thank you!

I have a serious issue with Philidelphia this morning. I played twice in a row, but both times encountered the same issue. Around 0924 and 0925 have an inbound PDT4891 and PD4830 respectively. Both on approach for 9R. However, as soon as PD4830 hits the 5 mile marker, I get slammed with a constant wave of -500 penalty points, to the point where, within seconds I drop to -11,230 points. What is heck is going on? I've never ran into this before. Admittedly, I usually have 27R/L open for arrivals, but for something different I opened 9R/L istead. I am running Tower!3D Pro SP 3 and RT SP6v3.

I have noticed since the last update that some taxways are no longer recognized correctly by the voice control. Does someone have the same problems? For example in Klax when I call taxway C it registers as C1 or C8. It never happens before, at least not constantly. If you are interested in my 24h challenge, here is a link to the playlist. I upload a new episode every Tuesday. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLweXFlEoRpm3EFQd1V1cHhlhWdv7it9F6

Thought I'd say hi and share a few changes I've made as a complete newbie to ATC. I've only owned the game for about 2 weeks and would have liked to have played it more than I have been able to find time for. :-) My first impression, was very nice graphics... how come I can't look around (had to reconfigure my centre mouse button, Microsoft defaulted it to the equivalent of Alt-Tab), and... "This is pretty easy"... Then I changed from TIST to KLAX. Not so easy. ;-) Now I got to play around a bit, and discovered a few things... Like those jets pulled up quicker than i expected (exiting 25R@G at KLAX) and those turbo props really hit the brakes (exiting 25R@F at KLAX before the deferred threshold). So, I came to the forum to see if anyone had noticed this sort of behaviour and lo and behold, there was a post saying deferred thresholds were being fixed in a soon to be released Service Pack. And there was much rejoicing. ;-) And after waiting many moons (about 2 days), SP1a for Pro was released and... the planes still landed before the threshold at KLAX, but TIST was fixed (KPHL doesn't have any). So, after reading some posts that said schedules and planes and such could be modified, I thought I'd have a go fixing some things. First off, I added a couple of new Speech recognition commands: #airplane1; RUNWAY ;#runway1; VIA ;#taxiway1;#taxiway2;#taxiway3;#taxiway4;#taxiway5;#taxiway6 #airplane1; PUSHBACK APPROVED EXPECT RUNWAY ;#runway1; VIA ;#taxiway1;#taxiway2;#taxiway3;#taxiway4;#taxiway5;#taxiway6 #airplane1; PUSHBACK APPROVED EXPECT RUNWAY ;#runway1; AT ;#taxiway1 #airplane1; PUSHBACK APPROVED EXPECT RUNWAY ;#runway1; AT ;#taxiway1; VIA ;#taxiway2;#taxiway3;#taxiway4;#taxiway5;#taxiway6 After checking that these worked OK, I then looked at trying to fix that Turbo Prop from stopping on a dime (it’s performance was making Dash 7s look bad). Managed to fix that, now it performs more like a Dash 8. <?xml version="1.0"?> <airplane type="Turboprop_default" code="DEFAULT" class="3" length="73" cruspeed="65" crurate="700" landingspeed="120" takeoffspeed="95" minspeedtower="90" maxspeedtower="250" landinglen="2500" takeofflen="3200" rateofdecent="1200" rateofclimb="1450" category="0" rateofclimb10k="1100" speed10k="270" minspeed10k="240" maxspeed10k="280" minspeedcruise="60" maxspeedcruise="67" optimalalt="25000" airline="2" nose="-200.00000" tail="196.000000" noselightx="0.000000" noselighty="-396.000000" beaconlightx="0.000000" beaconlighty="0.000000" navlightx="-240.000000" navlighty="-80.000000" navstrobelightx="-240.000000" navstrobelighty="-80.000000" winglightx="-3.809524" winglighty="-99.047623" runwaylightx="-4.137931" runwaylighty="-45.517239"> <texture name="def_turb_prop.apt" icao="DEFAULT"/> </airplane> Next one was deferred thresholds… so… KSAN Runway 9 0ft -> 710ft KJFK Runway 13R width 150ft -> 200ft Runway 31L width 150ft -> 200ft Runway 22R 3425ft -> 2700ft (unless airport map has been updated for 2016 changes, in which case 3425ft would be correct) Runway 22R width 150ft -> 200ft Runway 4L 460ft -> 0ft (Google Earth says there’s been no displaced threshold since at least 1994) Runway 4L width 150ft -> 200ft KLAX Runway 6R 0ft -> 537ft Runway 25R 0ft -> 955ft KATL Runway 27R 0ft -> 505ft OK, not so bad… now about those planes landing on the threshold instead of up at the aiming mark… added 1000ft to displaced threshold value on every runway… much better. But I would recommend adding the 1000ft in the software when the displaced threshold is read in from the file so that the resource file uses real displaced thresholds instead of tweaked ones. This still allows the ‘3 stop-and-go’ scheduled at TIST. Other random changes: Three ‘gaandlocaltraffic’ schedules have a semicolon in the time field that needs to be changed to a colon for them to load. So, thank you very much Vic for this wonderful sim that I’m sure I’m going to be wasting enjoying many hours on in the future. :-) And if Vic says it’s OK, I’ll attach the 2 files I’ve modified (not going to attach them straight away as they’re game files, not files added to the 'Extensions' folder). Hey there, I encounter some strange performance issues, especially on KJFK and KATL after some time of playing. At first, everything runs perfectly smooth without any problems - after some time though, the framerate drops significantly (I don't have an indication, but it feels like below 10 fps). I did a multiplayer session with a friend today, we have almost the same hardware configuration and he had no problems. After playing he had 1:28h while I only had 1:24 which shows that my session had run a lot slower than his. Then at some point the framerate gets up again (although there's pretty intense traffic) and after a couple of minutes it breaks down again... No background tasks or anything that could slow down the computer. It's a fresh windows with only 2-3 games installed, nothing else. My config: Intel i7 2700K Quad Core @3,6GHz 16GB DDR3 RAM Nvidia GTX970 Tower!3D PRO (non-steam). I hope someone can help. Best regards. Martin

Hi Everyone, I am having a problem with constant crashes with Tower!3D Pro (Steam edition). Sometimes I can get just a few seconds of gameplay, other times, I can get up to 15 minutes before it crashes. There is no specific action that I am doing when the crash occurs. I've not noticed it crash on St. Thomas map, but it crashes constantly on Philadelphia. I have verified the game contents on Steam, but the issue still happens. My system specs are: Windows 7 Home Professional (64 Bit) (in English) AMD FX 9590 (4.7 GHz, 8 Core) 32 GB RAM NVIDIA 1080 GTX Graphics 8 GB VRAM I have not installed any DLC or any modifications. I have all my logfiles, but my account is apparently only allowed to upload 20kb of attachments, and each zip folder is 60kb. Is there another place I can upload the logs? Thanks, Hibblejaybob

In Tower!3D Pro I got the real traffic and textures for the planes not the textures for individual airports. All my planes have different real call signs and that's great. But the problem is all my planes are white. Now I am wondering where do I put all 6 texture files in the tower!3D Pro folder.

Hello all, I was hesitant between tower!3d the normal version or the pro version. I just paid 30 dollars for nothing, It was not clear on the website what "Advanced ground radar (ADIRS) and Much more and complex commands" would mean? What did they mean my "much more"? I wasn't sure, so I bought the normal version. The second I saw that I cannot assign plans to the paths I want I knew I want to upgrade. Voice recognition is not important to me. I love the game and I would like to upgrade to the pro version. Is there a way to do that? or did I just pay 30 dollars for nothing. Because the normal version of the game is not challenging and plans keep hitting each other because you cannot assign them to certain paths. Many thanks.

Hello Community, I decided to buy Tower!3D Pro, but I have a few questions: If I buy Tower!3D Pro without a CD, will I get a download link to my email or a direct download on the purchase site or anything else? If I get a new PC in a half year, will I be able to transfer the game from my old PC to my new one, if I had buyed the game without CD before? Would I be able to transfer the game to my new PC, if I had buyed Tower!3D Pro with CD instead? Hope you have experience with that and you can help me. Hope you at least have understood me, due to I'm a german. Greetings from Germany, Lessi_lex

Hi All, When you have installed Tower!3D and install the add-on Real Color KLAX with default, it installs in the wrong directory resulting in a non working Add-on of KLAX The Add-on installs default in "..\Program Files (x86)\Tower 3D\Extensions" folder in windows 7. This is wrong as the default directory of Tower!3D Pro is "..\Program Files (x86)\Tower!3D Pro" So when installing CHANGE the install directory to "..\Program Files (x86)\Tower!3D Pro" in order to have the add-on properly working. This creates the Extensions directory in the right place. Have fun controlling Andre

tower!3d pro Possible taxiway night link missing at KLAX
MustangPauli posted a topic in ATC Simulators
Hello all, I've been playing some early AM shifts at KLAX (00:01-01:00) and I've noticed a possible issue with taxiway D near the TBIT terminal and the intersection with taxiway S. I've had two aircraft push back from the northeastern most gate of the TBIT onto taxiway D for a 6R departure. The aircraft push back fine but when I give them taxi instructions they just sit there on D. It doesn't matter what runway or route I assign to them they will not move and I eventually have to delete them. The taxiway in question (D between the TBIT alley and taxiway S) is missing the green taxiway lights; I'm thinking there is probably a missing taxi-link which is preventing the sim from creating routes. I tried to take a screenshot but it's too big to attach.
