wrong key to a customer

Hi,

I pasted exactly your given key. I bought FSUIPC via simmarket and I tried it several times but it insisted saying: "It's not a valid 12-digit key" ??!!??

What keys are you distributing to your customers?

If you don't mind, would you PLEASE give me MY correct key...for my payed product, don't you?!

Hi,

It's probably not the end of the world. Did you exactly enter the other information correctly? Pete is on holiday for a few weeks so other users are just helping out.

You may also contact SimMarket and fill out a trouble ticket.

Common error is to make a mistake typing in your email, the key is mathematically generated from your email address, so if you make a typo putting in the email address, the key won't checksum correctly, and will give that error.

Did you cut-and-paste your name and email address too? If not it is most likely you made an error in one of those. As clearly stated in the email you received, all three parts must be exactly correct.

What keys are you distributing to your customers?

I don't make or distribute keys at all. I do programming development and technical support. SimMarket do all the rest.
