Dear Friends, the (language specific) Sound Patches to support MyTraffic 2006 can be found under

http://www.fsrail.com/MT2006Patchsound_US.exe

Since all of the Objects contained in the 2005 files are in here too, the files on the http://www.MyTraffic2004.com will be replaced by these case no major event shows up after the weekend.

Install as usual to the FS9 top directory. The data file for EDVP is included with each of the packs.

Its the yet to be released next version of MyTraffic. Stay tuned :)

Have you announced any details yet?.....or is it a "surprise"?

I've really enjoyed your product. I always fly with traffic now.

Well, the big press releases will come, but for us here we can release a few details.

MyTraffic2006 Version will continue the successful MyTraffic series. It will provide about 160 aircraft models with approx 2550 types, represent 1250 airlines on 6530 airports.

These will include airliners, jets and props, general aviation, military transport and fighter, including the naval ones, naval helicopters and amphibians. Among the new models are not only those from the Naval expansion, but also the complete BAe146/Avro Series, DC8s, Tristars, Metropolitains, the Cessna 206, just some examples. Several models, among them the B777, got completely redone with new paints, several models like the 727-200 or the A321 got new models with a new texture layout used for additional types.

The flightplan installer as well as the editor contain a concept of simulated year. You can use MyTraffic2006 as a time machine and set your AI environment back - and will find yourself among a vintage AI traffic. Set yourself to 2000 and you will be between Concordes in EGLL, but see no A346.

The supplied models and paints will go back to the beginning of the jetliner age, yes, the sixties will see Boeing 707s, the 727-100, Caravelles, and even the Comet 4 to operate around you.

To be honest, the further you go back the diversity will go down with this version, even 2550 paints just are a drop of water on a hot rock against anything that I would dare to say "ultimate". No more deeper changes are intended for the FS2004 area, but addition of more paints, and I hope that the new models can encourage some of my friends to provide me with some of them.

The editor had a deep remake, a good fraction of the internal engine got rebuilt. This was necessary for the time machine, and lead to a severe speed-up ( on the expense of using more memory). Also, following user wishes, a very simple solution for semi-manual scheduling is provided.

There may be more that I forgot...

To be preciser, after thinking again, it makes sense for the 2006 schedule settings only, combining FSLive with 1965 AI traffic dosn't make too much logical sense.

2006 settings will be different from the 2005 ones by a few planes outphased in 2005 and the main difference that USAF said good bye to EDDF. Any more such events come to your mind?

Thanks, Pawel, yes I looked into this KEWR for hours tonight and now if works perfect. Takeoffs on 4L and 11, Landings on 4R and 11, some aircraft pile up to cross the 4L, from time to time the get allowance, than the next dozen of aircraft take off. No pile ups of landing aircraft observed since two landing runways are used. I attach it here.

Now, since I was too slow, I noticed that I have to paint a model for the New York area that got already built, but had no paint yet...

Can (should) this patch be applied to MT2004 2.1 without upgrading to MT2006? Is there any benefit to doing so?
