Burkhard
I admit I should have done it earlier, but when you make a Titanic task you sometimes miss small jewels that are on your way. Tonight I finally tested FS Configurator by Ken Salter. Among other useful things, this allows to modify the taxi speed from the the default 17 kn to other values. I tested with 25 kn, which still is within realistic limits. Really, aircafts leave the runways faster, and can cross them faster, both leading to an improvement of the traffic flow on the airports. 25kn taxi speeds together with crosswind support on the larger air fields improve them much more than sending half of the landing planes into Nirwana. Even after 12 hours of the simulation, the airports remain full and busy. Very nice tool!

Burkhard
Sorry, hm, I forgot what it was, I was busy with something the last weeks  Yes, it works as nice. You might see that I included also a little tool to increase the taxispeed to 25mph, but both of these work fine. At least, testing at Denver now with 5 active runways and an increased taxí speed you even think it could hold still more traffic.
