pablo1
Hi Tried to install but keep getting "low on disc space drive c". I have it set to install into fs09 on my D drive because I have 49GB of space avaiable. I know the C drive is not room enough so why do I keep getting message and I am not putting program on C drive? I am not computer savvy so I don't know everything about computers. Thank you, pablo
dutch64
You get that warning because before installing it extracts files to your temp folder. You can temporaily change your temp value to let it point to your d-drive. The easier solution will be to clean up your c drive though
pablo1
Hello, How do I change temp value or can you please explain better? pablo
Argenfarkle
Assuming you are using Windows XP: 1) Right-click "My Computer". Select "Properties". Select the "Advanced" tab. Click "Environment Variables" button. 2) Highlight "TEMP". Click "Edit". Change the "Variable value" to d:\Temp (or whatever drive you want your temp file to point to). Click "OK". 3) Repeat for the "TMP" variable. Continue clicking the various "OK" buttons until you can exit. Reboot, and you're done. Burkhard
Thanks, Ron, again something I learned. By the way, I recommend to clean the C drive. My experience (not only from FS ) is that as soon as a disk is filled to more than 70 or 75% under XP, the file system starts to make a lot of activity whenver it wants, and that is never when you want. Simple file opening of a 1KB text file with notepad can need 30 seconds than, had that last week...
