I placed a redo of all new 737-200 paint for the explicit mip mapping under http://www.fsrail.com/B737_2MY.zip .

Installation instructions:

Make a backup of your B737-2MY folder.

Put the files you find in the archive into the B737-2MY folder, replacing existing files. I will post a simpl way to make exclusive usage of these models tomorrow.

If you do not like to experiment yourself, just ignore and take note that we are trying hard to increase perfromance still beyond were we are now. Given the assumption that Vista and FSX cannot be more effcient on hardware than XP and FS9, and the fact that computer speedup has come almost to a stop this year, this seems more necessary than ever, even for a longer period.

I updated the above file, now the model also shows full AI nightlight behaviour, even on a DXT1 texture. For more experiments.

I added a older "For MyTraffic directory". It contains a batch to create random schedules, a Myaircraftrand.dat and a MyAirports.dat. Copy the first two to the FS9 directory, the third case there is no other file of that name. A doubleclick to he batch file will create a traffic scenery using these aircrafts only, with approximately 200000 world wide schedules.

Making one copy of it will increase to 400K, two to 600K, so above MT2006 maximal settings, allowing for extreme tests of what your hardware is able to handle.

Comparison of the model you find in the 2005 folder and the one in the 2006 folder should unveil if explicit mip mapping helps for framerate and stuttering and blurries.
