Andrew Purdie
Does anyone know how to fix this problem. I have traffic set to 50%. My FS does fine for about 3-5 mins, but then it crashes and says "FS will now restart". Can anyone give me a link for an update or ANYTHING. Thanks. baksteen33
Hi Andrew, as far as I could judge, this shouldn't be related to MT alone. Could you perhaps indicate the FS-module causing the crash? Did you install the FS9 update? Does it happen in a particular area? Any other addon sceneries installed? As many infos as possible would be helpful. Thanks, good luck and kind regards Jaap
Andrew Purdie
It just started when i installed the MyTraffic addon. My sceneries are FlyTampa's, ImagineSim KDEN, and that's it. I will try uninstalling my MDMAX MD80, cuz that may be a cause to the problem. Thanks a lot for your help.
baksteen33
An indication about the FS-module causing the crash would be great. As you probably know, that info can be found by going into the details when the 'FS will now restart' window pops up. Good luck
Burkhard
I once had a similar situation that a traffic bgl file had got bad on disk. Recompilation, in the case of MT2006 with Select_AI_YEAR, helped in that case.

So what you are saying is to re run the disk compile thing? anyway here is what i could get from the error report: AppName: fs9.exe AppVer: 9.0.0.30612 ModName: g2d.dll ModVer: 9.0.0.30612 Offset: 00039329
Burkhard
g2d means two dimensional grafics, typical for a incompatible gauge in a 2D - cockpit.
Andrew Purdie
ok, i guess i'll uninstall any new freeware i downloaded
Burkhard
Unfortunately this is not guaranteed to help. Depending on the number of addons you really need, a new installation may be successful much faster. Hope you have all at hands, not much service teams around the next couple of days... Andrew Purdie
a complete reinstallation of FS or MyTraffic?
Burkhard
FS. MyTraffic only contains aircrafts and other 3D objects, no 2D object, therefore g2d.dll is never used by any MyTraffic related stuff. Only idea that comes while writing is to switch off aircraft shadows, these are known to create crashes.
