Pass Data

Recommended Posts

I want to pass some values to flight simulator like "Air Speed" to "Air Speed Indicator" and influence on.

Apparently it is impossible with FSUIPC.

How can I do it

It is impossible in any case. Those are results of FS's simulation, not inputs -- effects, not causes. You can influence them via thrust (throttle) and pitch of course (directly or via the elevator), and also to some extent by managing the assorted accelerations and forces. But you cannot directly tell FS to "set the aircraft speed to x".

Thank you for quickly answer.

Mr Dowson,

I want to do a project that has include two computer and must read some data from one who main FS is runing on and show those data on the other computer with new panels in other fs or any utility that show these data by gauges.

What you think? Can I do this with no programming trouble? and how.

Thanks a lot.

Won't FS's own multiplayer do that for you? Just put the flying computer into MP host mode and the observing one into observer mode with the pabnel showing. If that's all you want to do you only need two installations of FS and a cable. You don't need anything of mine.

Regards,

Pete
