AI Sounds with FSX

Hi Burkhard,

I noticed that aircraft installed with MyTraffic X don't use the "soundai" folder to setup the AI sound within FSX like the default MS aircraft do. Is there any reason why you are not using this FSX feature? I also noticed that the current MTX sound config files are aliasing not existing sound config files (it seems that these are the ones used in FS9, but simply don't exist in FSX - e.g. the "b737_400" folder).

AI aircrafts never used the local sounds, but AI sounds from the general sound directory. So when in FS9 MyTraffic aircrafts are used as user aircrafts, the sound references got used. Since usage as user planes is not foreseen ( this would require the unwanted side effect not to keep them locally in the MyTraffic structure, and require individual cockpits to be included ) this was skipped, and most sound folders got deleted. Some may have survived, never used pointing into nothing.

The soundai feature I looked at shortly, but couldn't convince myself it worked. At least I found no difference between it's presence or not. But if one day even I understand what it is good for, MyTraffic Communicator only needs to be updated once we have Version 5.0d
