Raysot
Does anyone know the offset for toggling the IAS/MACH display on the 737/747 autopilot? I've looked everywhere but can't seem to locate this little tidbit.
hsors
Hi Ray, Try writing 1 at offset &H7DC (for enabling AP IAS mode) or at offset &H7E4 (for AP mach value). I think it will switch from IAS to Mach or the opposite. If needed, you can first read the values to know which mode is enabled (it should be 1-0 or 0-1 but never 1-1 ;-)) Hervé
Pete Dowson
Does anyone know the offset for toggling the IAS/MACH display on the 737/747 autopilot? I've looked everywhere but can't seem to locate this little tidbit. FS has never provided a direct IAS/Mach c/o facility, except in gauges using mouse clicks. Internally it only switches when you select the relevant hold mode -- IAS hold or Mach hold. In previous coockpit implementations I've had to save the A/T Arm enabled/disabled state first, then make the change, then restore the disabled state of the A/T if necessary. Very annoying.
