Level-D 767 - FSUIPC4.20 - Saitek Yoke and Throttle

Recommended Posts

Hi

First, thanks for this fantastic utility - it really opens for some nice possibilities :-)

I'm having a problem with my Saitek Yoke useing the Level-D 767. And I think it migth have something to with FSUIPC. :-( ?

FSUIPC can se an calibrate all axis, and it does work fine with the default planes in FSX, but only the throttles work fine. No pedals nor yoke :-(

Can anyone help ?

So, as it works fine with all the default planes, how do you work out the specific Level-D 767 problem is "something to do with FSUIPC"? You seem to have successfully proven otherwise!

Or am I misunderstanding something?

And ehhh, the problems started when I installed the registred version of FSUIPC...

"Registered" version? There's only one version! You register it by entering a key you purchase from SimMarket. It doesn't "become a different version".

If things work fine without the Key (remove the FSUIPC4.KEY file from the Modules folder), but not with it, then there's one of two things wrong:

1. Either your system date is earlier than the Key purchase data, making it look illegal,

2. Or is is an illegal (pirated) key.

If you believe it is neither of these things I need to see a complete FSUIPC4.LOG file (i.e. run FS and close it), as well as the KEY file. Don't show them here. ZIP them and send to petedowson@btconnect.com.

If the same problems exist with or without the KEY file, first try version 4.203 from the FSX Downloads Announcement above.

Hi Pete. I'm having very red ears :-(

I loaded a default instrument settings for the Level-d - and everything was ok. Then I had a closer look at the other settings, and found out that the hydralic was offline :-(

wuuuh sorry - but now it works and I'm happy :-)

I don't use illegal software and I have mailed the details to you.

Thanks - and that I disturb the forum :-)

When I calibrate my Saitek Throttle in vista, all three works fine. When I open FSX and calibrate again, it seems that two of the levers has gone digital - on / off.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem ?

Seems to be one of the two main bugs with the new Saitek stuff. see thread viewtopic.php?f=54&t=65483&start=0 not very far from here. One poster found a Registry cure for it.

One piece of advice mate....why are you using FSUIPC for setting up your joystick ? The Saitek programming software that comes with aLL Saitek stuff (SST) is the best bit of software you will ever use. And - UNLIKE FSUIPC - comes with a very user friendly interface and good quality, easy to understand documentation.

I still can't even work out exactly which FSUIPC/version of FSUIPC I need to create a network -or which costs, and how much they cost. The documentation that comes with the basic download may as well be in Swahilli......

No version. FSUIPC does not assist in creating networks, nor does it use them. You need pieces of wire and a network socket for each PC, plus a hub or switch if you have more than two. There's no mention of Networks in anything to do with FSUIPC on any piece of marketing, so I guess you are reading something else entirely anyway.

I'd try and get my documentation translated into Swahili for you, if you want to pay extra. Otherwise I can't understand why you even come here?
