Try this version attached, you don't need to supply an absolute path as long as the registry isn't messed up. Use the "Flight1 registry repair tool" to make sure your registry entries are correct. You can find the tool by searching on google for the keywords in quotes. Actually here it is http://www.flight1software.com/files/FSRepair.exe

If the below dll.xml doesn't work after repairing the registry then you most likely have the wrong version of the SDK installed for your version of the sim.

dll.zip

maybe instead of

..\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Environment Kit\Traffic Toolbox SDK\traffictoolbox.dll

on the one andydigital gave you, you could try and change it to

..\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Environment Kit\Traffic Toolbox SDK\traffictoolbox.dll

the second one is what i have but before you try this wait for Burkhard to confirm that this would work or might work.

-thank you

Fortunately this is an internal problem of Microsoft software and MyTraffic is not involved in any distant way, so the right contact for you is the vendor where you purchased FSX, and the Microsoft product support.

We only can try to help you in case you ask for help. Did you check that the dll has the version given by Andy? If it has, you can tray to make a copy of it in a very simple path ( d:\ ) as example and try to program that into your dll.xml. Always assuming that you refer to the right copy of dll.xml, which is the one MyTrafficCommunicator displays, there are other copies FSX does not use on your computer, and there were users who edited files named dll.xml.txt at the respective location since they had know extension not displayed. Still other users had the tools menu there for a while and didn't see it, and it's name is different under different FSX language versions, Extra as example in the German version.
