vautrin
Hi, FSUIPC 4 installed. Installation ok F-Secure: Firewall desactivated FSX autorized in and out. No Add-on in FSX. Where is the problem? Thank you for your help.
Pete Dowson
FSUIPC 4 installed. Installation okF-Secure: Firewall desactivated You shouldn't need to do that, unless you aren't using a fully updated install of FSX. FSUIPC4 and SimConnect use pipes, not TCP/IP, since FSX SP2 or Acceleration. No Add-on in FSX.Where is the problem? No idea without more information. Please show me the FSUIPC4 Install log, which you'll find in the FSX Modules folder. Also, see if there is an FSUIPC4.LOG file -- if so, show me that too. Please also ALWAYS state version numbers. You appear to have a base installation of FSX, yet you have the SP2/Acceleration version of SimConnect installed. How did you manage that? You don't have the SP1 version of SimConnect installed, which would have had to be installed before SP2, and which is installed by Acceleration. What have you done?If you are trying to return to the original buggy version of FSX, then you've almost succeeded but you still need to remove the SimConnect folder in Windows\WinSxS which does NOT have the number "60905" in the folder name. I would recommend you first delete that folder, then try running FSX again. Once that is sorted out, you should install at least the SP1 update, and preferably also SP2, or Acceleration. Remember to actually run FSX and test it between each update. For further information about Simconnect folders in the WinSxS folder, see the "FSX Help" announcement in this Forum.Incidentally, FSUIPC version 4.52 is now superseded by 4.53 which you should update to for further support.RegardsPete
