Audio Environment

I had the priviledge of being a beta tester for Audio Environment, and I would say yes, it improved the sounds of both AI and user aircraft. In particular, they use a trigger to play an engine start up sound for the AI at just the right time. I don't think default FSX can do that for AI.

I found the thread announcing the product in their forum and tagged my issues onto it considering they have no support forum yet, I imagine they will have one pretty sharpish now that I have these problems clouding thier announcement.

I fixed the crash, bglmanx.dll from FSDreamteam didn't like loading after AEMODULE.dll for some reason and crashed FSX so changing the order that they load in dll.xml fixed it, just make sure bglmanx.dll appears before AEMODULE.dll in the dll.xml and it loads OK.

I also noticed that there is a problem with start-up and shut-down sounds according to the manual, the thing is though I don't hear start up or shut down sounds at all even though the manual says I should be able to hear them even with the forced engine running sound which FSX produces and which they cant fix, something isn't right at all there for me. The rest of the sounds work great I especially like the spool-up sound as the AI start their take-off roll, I'm not so sure about the reverse thrust though, it seems a bit extreme to me but certainly better than default.
