FS Commander plans for Super 80 Pro

I have found that FSC plans do not work in Super 80 Pro, although FSX created plans do.

FSC plans work in FSX default aircraft, I do not understand why then they do not work in Super 80 Pro.

Searching forums, I have found a way around this by loading FSC plans in the FSX planning window then immediately saving them back to the same plan name.

Puzzling and cumbersome to me, and not what I expected in FSC.

Does this mean that all 3rd party aircraft not listed by FSC and which use FSX plan formats will have problems with FSC ?.

I should add I love FSC and the extra enjoyment it brings to the flight sim experience.

FSC 8.5

FSX Acceleration

Vista Home Premium 32 bit

Hi Anonymous,

Currently we are saving flight plans in a format that both FS9 and FSX can read, in order to maintain compatibility. Therefore you have to use the workaround you specified for laoding plans into Super 80 Pro.

We will think about adding a new XML format in the future, but this is currently not on the top of our to-do list.

Regards

Sascha
