Merging User Waypoints

I have FSC 8.6 and FSCDatabase Manager86. I was going through a friends files and he kindly allowed me to copy his user waypoints file. The instructions as he showed me, were to open the Database Manager and select the option to merge the UserWaypoints. This option appears to have been removed from the version of database manager I have.

I've noticed that the UserWP file in the FSC database is now a .txt file and no longer a .udp file.

Has the option to merge user waypoints been removed? Or is there another way to merge the files.

Many thanks

Wayne

Earlier this month I updated FSC to version 9.5. Subsequently I tried to merge my userwp-file with the one provided in FSC 9.5, however the merged waypoints are not shown on the map. Tried to add a simple waypoint through the appropriate window of FSC 9.5 and whereas this waypoint is added and shows up in the list is does not appear in the map.

Would appreciate if someone could give me some tips to visualize the user waypoints on the map.

regards,

Albert
