MTX Heli Traffic

Hi

I'm using MTX since its beginnings and I'm really happy with this outstanding add-on. But when I'm at military airports (like KEDW) I see all the military helicopters starting and landing on regular runways (not on helipads, which I had added manually with ADEX)

I own Flight1 helitraffic2009 which simulates vertical starts and landings. It also allows the usage of MTX helicopters. So I have two questions:

Is it possible to urge the MTX helis to start/land vertically?

If not, is it possible to disable the MTX helicopter traffic selectively in such a way that the other military aircraft is not concerned?

Kind regards

Harry

First question:

As you have already said, in principle yes. But: MyTraffic uses the FSX AI playr, and no self made module, and FSX AI playr cannot do so.

So in your case the proper solution is the following:

Start MyTraffic Editoe. load the data base. Then edit the CH47 and CH53 types, and uncheck the "use in MyTraffic" marker. Now run a new "create all files and traffic", and the CH47 and CH53 are removed form the schedules, while you can still use them.

If you don't want to use them, just delete the respective folders under MyTraffic\aircraft.

Thank you,

I will try that
