bobbjoh
Hi Burkhard, As I do a lot of flying around the United States with MTX 5.3, I encounter an awful lot of military planes in the sky, even more than commercial planes. How is the schedule of military planes determined and can it be adjusted? Love this program and can't wait for the 5.3a revision to be released. If you still need some testing, please let me know. Thanks Bob Johnson DTW

Thanks Bob Johnson DTW USAF and USNavy together have far more aircraft than all US airlines together, so that is not too wrong. This said, the military schedules all come from autoscheduling, mainly using all the squadrons as airliones with their correct aircraft. If you want to reduce militray traffic stronger using the traffic density slider, this can be achieved tather simple using the MyTraffic editor ( don't forget to copy Trafficdatabasebuilder from your SDK installation): Load the data base, run a create "all files and traffic", set the value for the militaries to 50 or 70, and put the traffic density slider slightly above that value, and the military traffic will be very sensitive to small changes there.
