Annoying message

Dear Simon,

recently I had to reinstall FSX and consequently STB 3.1 and STBDS 3.1.

Launching FSX, after a while, a message appears asking if I allow STBDS to start and I have to confirm. I know that it is not a real problem but any idea how to get rid of this message that with the previous installation didn't appear?

Thank you and my best wishes for a merry Christmas and a wonderful 2001.

Hello Fabio,

If the message appears every time you start FSX, it sounds like FSX is running in "diagnosis" mode as far as this type of add-on is concerned. Can you send me your exe.xml file from the FSX Application Data Folder please? I'll check it out.

All the best for Christmas and New Year

Simon

FSX has a "diagnosis" mode where exe.xml is concerned, where it asks for confirmation for each "exe" that it will launch according to the contents of the file. You will see these requests every time toy start FSX if you have the stanza "ManualLoad" set to true. The simple fix is to set this to false in exe.xml.
