MyTraffic Sound Patch (MTXV50Patchsound_US.exe)

Hi, all.

I have just reformatted my PC and now have a clean install, which means a freshly-installed FSX and MyTrafficX :)

I am trying to download the sound patch in MyTraffic Communicator (which I understand adds all the real-world airline names to the ATC in FSX as I had before the reformat), but it won't download using the Communicator program (presumably because the link is broken, which is confirmed by trying to download manually using the link that Communicator suggests: www.fsrail.com/MTXV50Patchsound_US.exe)

Is there anywhere else that I can download this file from?

Many thanks.

The sound patch Method has been replaced by a better solution with MyTraffic X Professional 5.3, based on the Edit VoicePack SDK and thus compatible to all other addons using the same way to add sounds. Two years ago, the 5.0 Soundpatch was replaced by http://www.fsrail.com/MTXV52Patchsound_US.exe which still is online. Looks lile you still have a VERY old version of MyTraffic, even from before Microsoft published FSX Service Pack 2 - so you neither have the performance nor the optical quality nor the schedule realism you could have.

Thanks, Burkhard.

I have downloaded it and am installing as I speak.

Is there a website somewhere which outlines the differences between MTX 5.2 and 5.3 Professional (plus some screenshots, preferably)? I am considering upgrading.

There is a giant website - this forum. Look what was new in 5.2a, 5.2b. 5.3, and 5.3a and you see that you ask for book shelf, not a page...
