registered FSUIPC FS9

Recommended Posts

Hi Dear,

using latest reg.FSUIPC for FS9. Everything worked fine until (i think it was FSCommander9 Installation) with a indication of a newly Version of FSUIPC. So i confirmed. Since that point it isn't possible to create mouse-macros. Also the macros created before are disappeared from dropdown-List in FSUIPC. Also created finally a mouse-macro by Name BOEING737 and all OVHD737 functions/locations in the droplist also disappeared !. In FSUIPC.ini able to find the macros but not in the FSUIPC to assign/refer to a function toggle/rocker. What will happen with registration in case of new installation ? Is there maybe another Solution to get it back ?. So i know how to create mouse macros and that some Aircraft panels (XML and so on) not accept that. The rest of FSUIPC is working fine without problems. Thanks for help.

Stay tuned, five by five

using latest reg.FSUIPC for FS9.

And what is its number? Saying "latest" doesn't help at all I'm afraid. I ALWAYS need the number. Some folks have said "latest" and been using a two year old version, the "latest" they'd bothered to find. The actual latest at present is 3.989y.

Sorry, there's something missing in this part. Until what, and what indication, and what did you confirm?

Sorry, none of this part is making sense to me.

What little sense I can derive seems to be saying that something you installed overwrote your "latest" copy of FSUIPC with a really old one which doesn't even support macros. Maybe you could check -- check the actual VERSION NUMBER of the FSUIPC. It is shown in the Log file, it is shown on the first FSUIPC options tab, it is shown in the Properties of the FSUIPC.DLL file.

Let me know please.

Pete

Thanks for writing so fast. ll have a look today in the afternoon and check that. Then ll let you know. Seems to be that something overwritten.

What i wrote before was:

I had created a mouse-macro for example: Piper Seneca PA34 and it worked fine. After installing FSCommander9 with a potentially newly FSUIPC Version (that's what the installer said) ---i confirmed this Installation of this FSUIPC---- NO Information about the Version at this Point. Until today never used mouse

Thanks for writing so fast. ll have a look today in the afternoon and check that. Then ll let you know. Seems to be that something overwritten.

What i wrote before was:

I had created a mouse-macro for example: Piper Seneca PA34 and it worked fine. Then with installing weeks later FSCommander9 with a potentially newly FSUIPC Version (that's what the installer said) ---i confirmed this Installation of this FSUIPC---- NO Information about the Version at this Point. Thought that on FSC9 should be than a newly Version. Until today never used mouse-macros. Now cannot find the Piper Seneca Mouse-macro in the dropdown-List on the FSUIPC Button page !. Also by creating the new mouse-macro for 737 yesterday - the assignments for 737 OVHD Panel (like:APU,lights,Batterie)in the dropdown-List on Button page disappeared, all others (like: axis,toggle.lights,offsets) still there. Hope it is easy to understand.

So gonna check it in the afternoon, THANKS !.

Regards, stay tuned.

Max.

Hi Dear,

so i got the Informations. The FSUIPC.log contains the Version 3.98a - by opening FSUIPC it also means 3.98a 4th March 2010. Mentioned before: ---in the dropdownList : Control sent when Button pressed---created mouse-macros will not displayed and also disappeared (737OVHD).. now the List starts with -Abort- above only two "White-Placeholder

Okay, that should be fine.

Okay. So, things to check:

What .mcro files are there in the FS Modules folder?

Please find the FSUIPC.INI file and paste it into a message here, so I can check that corresponds.

Also, just in case, you could try the latest FSUIPC version, 3.989y, from the Download Links subforum. That's the one I'd be testing with.

Pete

The modules-folder contains following .MCRO Files:

Well, this is a strange coincidence! Within a week of each other two users have exactly the same problem! See

http://forum.simflig...pearing-macros/

Of the Macro files you list, these two cannot be the same. One must have a space before the '.'. It is that which creates the problem, due to the way in which Windows handles INI and CFG files.

Seneca.MCRO

SENECA.MCRO

That reaults in a complete full and rather useless Macro file index in the INI:

Of all those you only actually use 1 and 4, so I suggest you replace the entire [MacroFiles] section with:

[MacroFiles]

1=737 OHD

2=767

3=APchart

4=Seneca

and let the others get reallocated as and when.

Then go and get FSUIPC 3.989y from the Download Links subforum, in which this problem has been fixed.

Note that the Seneca macro file with the space will be ignored. If that's the one you want, delete the other and remove the space in the filename.

Regards

Pete

SO I HAVE TO SAY : THANK YOU !! THAT´S MORE THAN PERFECT !.

I erased the file: Seneca=5 until Seneca=127 in .INI and now it works !. The unneeded Seneca.MCRO file with the space also erased

and FSUIPC 3.989y is active now !. THATS PERFECT !!. FSUIPC is more than a tool; it´s GREAT !. Hower that bug accrued ?!.

I have to say THANK YOU and appreciated !!!.

P.S. the next effort for me ´ll be OFFSETS for toggles/switches, rockers and other devices.

THANKS ! YOUre THE MAN !! GREAT ! ´ll recommend!.

best Wishes, regards, five by five,

Max
