aircraft install errors

Recommended Posts

Hello; i recently upgrade to 5.3a, thank you for all your work; earlier today i bought and installed Flightbeam's KSFO but unfortunately, i do not have any traffic there but this is not my reason for posting (altough it would be nice to have it fix !); i tried to rebuilt aircraft, scenery and schedules from Communicator and ran into errors from several planes:

Maybe try to delte the folders in question like the aircraft\EMB195MX folder, and run the EMB195MX.exe again with a double klick. If you don't have suffient folder rights, this should cure it.

If not:

Usually such behaviour indicates that

a) either your harddisk has problems, or

B) you have an over active virus scanner that finds in these large binary data chunks of bits which are similar to a sequence known as signiture of a virus and removes them.

You should configure your virus scanner to not "repair" infections.

The I recommend that you run a MyTraffic install, but not to FSX but to a temporary directory, and end the second part of the install. Then you have freshly unpacked installers which I expect to work.

If the damage was already earlier, please inform me again.
