dmbusmc
Hi, I was just in the communicator and under the "Configure MyTraffic" tab I clicked on "Remove aircraft, scenery, and schedules in MyTraffic folder", instead of clicking on "Install aircraft models for historic flight" like an idiot. An MS-Dos like screen came up and it plowed away for about 10 seconds before I realized what I'd done. Before I make the situation any worse, I want to know what I should do. Can I just click rebuild? Or do I have to click the remove once again, let it finish, and then rebuild? Or something else entirely? Please let me know as you can, thank you. Kyle I would let the remove do its task, then you are in a fine status, then run the rebuild. Or, if you have the installers at hand, just delete all the MyTraffic folder and uiinstall again, no need then for the post installation tasks. What to do exactly to get this the fastest way depends on the name of the full installer you have.

Ok, I ran the remove and it worked, but when I tried to rebuild it started failing on various aircraft. I believe I will have to do something else. I still have my installer that I downloaded from Simmarket when I bought it, and it's called "MTXV53a". What should I do now? Thank you, Kyle (Please understand I just want to make sure and do it right, I would usually just go for it but this is pretty complex software so I just want to make sure I do it the proper way)

You than may think about updating to 53b which is just released as a free incremental update.

I am having trouble updating to 5.3b in the communicator. When I click on "new version" in the downloads tab the screen to download it comes up but nothing happens. Is there any other place I can get the update?
