Hi Alan, I eagerly purchased the SoundAI program, however I am having problems getting any sound from it.I have good working knowledge of computers, so I am not sure exactly what I may be doing wrong. But perhaps there is a way to check it. I am running FSX, REX2.0, MTX5.2b, LevelD767, RC4 on Windows 7 64 bit, i7 quad core, 6 GB Ram, 2 soundcards (1 onboard Realtek, and 1 creative labs). I have checked the fsx.cfg to see if all is as it should be under [sOUNDS]. I have used the autoinstaller for MTX 5.1. The Sound folders show up in FSX Misc Traffic_Sounds folder. I placed the Startup/shutdown sounds into the Main FSX Sounds Folder. I placed the Effects in the FSX Main Effects folder. Then, I edited all the Soundai.cfg files within My Traffic Aircraft folders, as well as add the corresponding Light lines to the Aircraft.cfg [LIGHTS] section. I changed the output cards around, played with the fsx.cfg [sounds] LOD, etc. But nothing! I have only 2 speakers however, and have my sound setting for Stereo, not 5.1 surround.I only hear the faint default FSX soundai, that is all.

I also found that the auto installer installed the MTX soundai files in MISC\Airplanes folder. I deleted them aas I already manually went into all the MYTRAFFIC folder and aliased the soundai.cfg files to point to the MISC\TRaffic_Sounds\Mychoice\Soundai (file location). I checked it 3-4 times, and they are correctly entered as well.

Hope you can help, or if you need me to send any settings for review please let me know. The sounds are great when I play them in WMPLayer, and can't wait to hear it in FSX. Thanks, Taufeeq
