Flightsim Commander & Prepar3D

Are there any plans on making Flightsim Commander compatible with Prepar3D?.

Hi Michael,

unfortunately, I understand neither the meaning nor the reason.

Tell us more about why we should make the FSCommander compatible with Prepar3D.

Prepar3d is Lockheed-Martin's version of FSX, basically. It is what they developed from the ESP code sold to them by Microsoft when MS stopped development of their own "commercial" FS.

From what I understand (I don't have Prepar3d personally and can't afford it to find out!), almost everything that works in FSX also works in P3D. FSUIPC certainly works in both, so anything that communicates through FSUIPC to FSX should work in all three anyway?

Hi Ian,

Thank you for the information. I did not know these details.

If the program is also compatible with the FSUIPC, then I see no problems.

We know that the FSCommander works fine with X-Plane in cooperation with the XUIPC.

For us, it would obviously be helpful if there is an SDK available for this program.

Kind regards,

Hi Rolf,

a real working solution for Prepar3D and FSCommander version 9.1 I can't see.

With a number of limitations and workarounds may it works sometimes.

It is possible, that the FSCommander version 9.2, published in May, offers a slight and workable solution to Prepar3D.

Just be patient. The FSCommander Team is working very hard on this implementation, but I can not promise that commitment.
