Dont have FSX so why is FSC looking for it?

Recommended Posts

Following a clean FS9 re.install I decided to try FSC 9.1 to see if I could justify spending $ to upgrade from 8.6.

I made a separate install, leaving my 8.6 untouched.

I ran the FS9 database correctly and the install appears to be fine. However, when opening the program it says that the FSX path and database is incorrect., and the program closes.

Hi northcape,

Open the folder where your FSCommander is installed. Find the file FSC.INI and open this file with an editor.

At the end of the file you find an entry FSX = -1. Delete the figure -1 behind the equal sign. Save the file and restart the FSCommander.

Sorry about the inconvenience. That happens sometimes.

Regards,

Volker
