Updated Content for MyTrafficX 5.4 and 5.4A

Recommended Posts

As far as I can see MyTrafficX is the only FSX AI add-on still being updated, and I'm very glad to see it. Many new airlines and aircraft were added in 5.4, and I've updated the STB V3 configuration files to fully describe them. The configuration files define the IATA codes, full name and role (i.e. Passenger, Cargo, etc) for airlines, without which STB can only show the callsign name, and the aircraft departure flaps setting, cruise speed and altitude.

You can download the new configuration files from:

After downloading, unzip the files to a folder of your choice and start up STB. Then:

  1. Click "Settings" from the "Configuration" pull down menu;
  2. Click the Objects tab;
  3. Click the "Edit Airlines" Radio button if not already selected;
  4. Click "Load From Text File"
  5. Navigate to wherever you unzipped the data files and select "Airlines.txt".
  6. The number of airlines loaded into STB is displayed.

  1. Click the "Edit Airports" radio button;
  2. Click "Load From Text File" again;
  3. Navigate to wherever you unzipped the data files and select "Aircraft.txt"
  4. The number of aircraft loaded into STB is displayed.

The above content will also be included in the upcoming STB V3 SP2 Update.

I found most airlines, but a few escaped me. If you happen to know anything about the airlines behind the following callsigns, I'd be glad to hear about them:

  • E WING

New logos will also be arriving soon.
