I have just purchased the tool and trying to run it in networking mode without success. I have red other posts regarding that, but I not understand what I'm doing wrong and whatI should change.

The only changes I have done respect the setup instructions are the port number in the deployment tab of the configuration (I use 500 for all the apps using simconnect.xml) and the address of the shared FSX folder.

The error is reported in the gif attached

Thanks for thne support

Joe

Hi Joe,

It looks like you are running SimConnect on the same port as the STB-DS connection. If so please change one of them to a different value as they cannot share like that. The connection to STB-DS is nothing to do with SimConnect, so you can't send that kind of traffic down it. In fact most likely you end up sending STB-DS requests to FSX which it doesn't have a clue what to do with and hence the error.

When changing the STB-DS port, make sure the same value is set in STB and STB-DS (both ends of the connection).

Simon
