A simple tool to test aircraft as AI aircraft

Dear friends,

sometimes users want to test aircraft if they work well as AI (I do so half of the MTX development time). Here comes a little tool how to place any aircraft world wide so that you can test it where you like.

Unzip it and place the two files to the MyTraffic main folder. You mast have trafficdatabasebulder.exe copied.

MyAircraftrand.dat is a file to tell which aircraft you want to see. The current example is:

So I currently test 9 different aircraft. The content is easy, the firstsegment must be unique, the second is the title, the rest you can ignore for today.

So you edit this file and save it. It can have one type only or many, just keep the first word unique.

Once you save, double click to trafficrand.bat - and a minute later this will be done, press once any key and the bgl to show these world wide will be in MyTraffic\scenery. To get rid of them, just delete MyTraffic\scenery\MyTrafficRand.bgl.

Sounds like a very useful tool! Do these aircraft show up at any "particular" airport, or are they randomly populated worldwide?

The show up worldwide. The purpose is really to test the aircraft.

Before you can use it, you have to dump the airports from the FSX traffic toolbox to airports.txt.
