Seanw
Is it possible to install (without having any conflicts), FS98, 2000, 2002, & 2004 in the same PC with each version of FS inside their own folder, and each FS version having a copy of FSUIPC inside their module folders. (Old FSUIPC for 98 and the latest version of FSUIPC for 2000, 2002, & 2004)? Has any one currently have, or have done an installation similar to this? I am running Windows XP Home edition. Thanks for all your help. Regards, Sean W.
Joshua Robertson
I have CFS, CFS2, FS98, FS2000, and FS2002 all installed in their seperate directories and each with their own FSUIPC on the same machine with no problems and no conflicts. I haven't purchased FS2004 yet but I suspect that there shouldn't be any problems installing that flight simulator on the same machine with all the other flight simulators already installed. They don't conflict. you can only run one of them at a time though . As far as FS98 goes, I've not managed to fully test FSUIPC 3 on FS98 but it should be okay. None of the FSUIPC versions really do much on FS98 in any case. With a registered copy of FSUIPC 3, to save re-entering the details for each version of FS, just copy the FSUIPC.KEY file across to each of the FS Modules folders. This only works on one PC, though. If you move to another PC you need to enter the details afresh. Regards, Pete
