Burkhard 21 Report post Posted November 16, 2012 Yes, MTXU54ab.zip is the update for FSX, MT3DU54ab.zip is the one for P3D. You can just apply the later over what you did to my understanding.
cthiggin2 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2012 Hello Burkhard, Yes, I saw my mistake and d/l'd the correct file - MT3DU54ab.zip. I again made sure the FSXtoPrepar3D Migration Tool was "disabled", and then installed the correct file over the wrong one - However, I'm still not getting the Prepar3D My Traffic Communicator - it's still like the one I sent you a pic of. What do I need to do to correct to get correct "Communicator" to work. Thanks so very much, Tom
Burkhard 21 Report post Posted November 18, 2012 I checked that the file MT3DU54ab.zip as linked on the first page of this topic contains the correct Communicator for P3D.
cthiggin2 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2012 Hello Burkhard, Do I uninstall, install my first version, then add the patch? Again, I just installed the correct version over the wrong version I installed? Thanks so very much for your help. Tom
Burkhard 21 Report post Posted November 18, 2012 I find it strange that the Communicator was not replaced in the update, or maybe it was running while you applied the update? You really have MT3DU54ab.zip as the file name?
cthiggin2 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2012 Hello Burkhard, Reinstalled, using MT3DU54a (that's what the zip name showed. The communicator is correct now. The version shows "version 5.4a"....is this correct? Thanks again, Tom
